Cape Girardeau, MO (The Weekly Vice) - Dennie Bratcher, a 27-year-old Sonic shift manager was jailed after he reportedly attempted to manufacture methamphetamine in the restaurant’s kitchen.
According to Cape Girardeau police, deputies responded to a burglar alarm around 2:00 a.m. Thursday and found still-uniformed Bratcher in the kitchen with several meth-making ingredients, trying to produce the drug.
Investigators say Bratcher first attempted to cook the drug on the roof, but soon opted for the much warmer kitchen.
The Sonic was cleaned, restocked, and passed an inspection by the health department before it re-opened on Friday
Bratcher was booked into jail and charged with burglary and manufacturing methamphetamine. His bond was set at $30,000.
Bratcher also had a warrant out for his arrest in Ste. Genevieve, MO for failing to appear in court for a speeding violation.

If he is actually supporting all of his children then I would say that Sonic just wasn’t paying enough. With all of those kids he needed some supplemental income. Too bad this idiot couldn’t just go and get a second job. Nothing like taking the easy way.

How do they know it was meth? Might have been the ingredients for the "secret sauce". They have to mix it up at 2 AM lest Mc D's steal the formula.
