Stacey Horace Jail Booking ReportTampa, FL (The Weekly Vice) - Stacey Joanna Horace, a 31-year-old Florida woman was arrested Tuesday on allegations she used hammers, belts, extension cords, wooden spoons and a stun gun to discipline her children.
According to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office, an investigation was launched in early November after child protective services received a report of child abuse via the Temple Terrace Police Department.
Investigators say Horace used a variety of tools to punish her children (ages 11 months to 10-years-old) including hammers, belts, wooden spoons, extension cords and even a stun gun.
Deputies also believe Horace held one of her children underwater, threw urine on him and spat in his face. The alleged abuse reportedly went on for 5 years, according to the Sheriff's Office arrest report.
Horace was booked into the Hillsborough County Jail on a single charge of felony child abuse. She was released after posting a $2,000 bond. The children were reportedly placed with family members.

You have the county wrong...it's HILLSBOROUGH, not Hernando.
There were seven children in her home.
The sheriff's office would not disclose Horace's relationship to the children.
It's important to note that the judge did not violate her constitutional guarantee against excessive bail.
Brown people are just mean.
Whaaaaa? 2,000? These poor kids will probably end up back with her.
Much as I hate to repeat myself, can we just shoot this one, too? And - with just a touch of vitriol, says the "peach" coloured guy - if you're going to post a comment like the one I think appears above mine, please have the cojones to put your own name on it.
$2,000? for tazing ur kids and throwing urine on them and god knows what else? What a joke.
I am appalled. However, I don't think a wooden spoon is all that bad. My sister and I got belted on our butts when we misbehaved, in the 80s. The generation before us had it worse, other parents and even teachers could hit your kids. Seems nowadays, if you spank your kid, child protective services will come after you. I hope I have really well behaved kids. I won't use spoons or belts, but I would spank their butts (obviously not hard). Or maybe just have scary daddy yell at them (men are more intimidating). I know multiple ppl that use "time outs" and they don't work! IDK, I'll decide when the time comes. But this woman went well beyond discipline. Clearly 7 kids are too much for her, hell too much for ANYONE! It's called Birth Control ya SLOB!
What a dumb ass bitch!! And nobody in the family knew!! What cowards!! If I was her neighbor I would of been kicked her ass!!
So it's been going on for five years, yet no one in the family could spare a moment to put a call in for the welfare of these children? Pretty much the definition of trash, that is, and there's no excuse for it.
I remember when I was like 14 or so, my mom got really mad at me over something, and she threw this big iron spoon at me. I'm pretty sure she didn't mean for it to hit me, but it did and I sported a black eye for better than a week. I got some deranged pleasure from seing her cringe every time she looked at me until it healed.
She used to say, in frustration, that she "hoped I had twins just like [me]!" And I pretty much did exactly that, proving that karma is, indeed, a bitch.
(If I had spooned them, however, I'd be under a rotting jail right now... the times they are a- -- well, you know.)
