Wooster, OH (The Weekly Vice) - Melanie Marie Hearn, a 32-year-old Louisiana fugitive was arrested in downtown Wooster.
The reason she was wanted? Police say she stood by and watched her 6-year-old daughter get raped.
According to Louisiana authorities, Hearn allegedly witnessed the rape of her daughter and failed to take action.
The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Western Louisiana developed information that Hearn had fled to Wooster, according to investigators. She was apprehended Tuesday without incident.
Hearn is in the Wayne County Jail awaiting extradition to Louisiana.
Investigators state that she was also wanted on probation violation for prior cocaine convictions.

How could this so called mother stand by and watch her child get raped? I am glad she was arrested and is not on the run anymore! The bitch deserves to be in prison!
I agree of course, of course! But there was not enough information here... how could you let that happen? it doesnt make sense
maybe in her eyes it wasnt rape. maybe she was selling her daughter for her next fix.hopefully she will get hers in prision sick bitch.
I'm sure drugs figure in here somewhere. Now the poor kid is going to grow up all screwed up and it repeats with the next generation.
Considering she is on probation for cocaine I would say that yeah, drugs were definitely involved. No excuse though. You have to be a pretty terrible person to watch anyone get raped, let alone your 6-year-old daughter!
