Genoveva Amacenda-Velona Jail Booking
Dade City, FL (The Weekly Vice) - Genoveva Amacenda-Velona, 30, was arrested on drunk driving charges Thursday after deputies found tequila, sliced limes and two kids in her car.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, deputies had stopped Amacenda-Velona for a burned out headlight when they found a rolling bar in her car.
A deputy approached the car to find Velona drunk at three times the legal limit. Inside, the deputy found a half bottle of Jose Cuervo tequila, sliced limes and two children, ages 7 and 9.
Investigators say Velona was unable to speak English, but told them through an interpreter that she had consumed only 3 or 4 beers at a friend's house.
A blood alcohol sample was obtained that reported Velon's BAC to be 0.233%, nearly three times the legal limit for operating a motor vehicle in Florida.
Also during the arrest, deputies discovered Velona did not possess a valid driver's license.
Amacenda Velona was booked into the Pasco County Jail on charges of aggravated child neglect, DUI and driving without a valid license. She was released after posting a $500 bond.

3 times the legal limit? Holy crap! Deport this wench and give her kids a better home. They are legally citizens now as long as they were born here.....
Also, $500 bond for putting her kids in danger? Seems sort of light to me.... They can't even take her license away for it because she doesn't have one!! She will do it again I guarantee it with a slap on the wrist like that!
I think the judge set that bond so low that she would flee the country!
