Indianapolis, IN (The Weekly Vice) - Donald Crawford, a 39-year-old Indiana man was arrested Tuesday after leaving his 5-year-old son alone in a semi tractor trailer while he was inside a strip club. He then called police when his truck and son turned up missing.
According to Indianapolis police, officers were dispatched to a strip club when Crawford reported his tractor-trailer missing, along with his son who was sleeping inside.
Investigators say Crawford left his son out in the truck while he patronized Sassy Kat's Showclub, a local strip club. When Crawford exited the club and couldn't find his truck, he called police.
Fortunately for Crawford, his truck was right where he left it. He was simply too drunk to remember where he had parked it.
Unfortunately for Crawford, he was arrested for endangering his son's life by leaving him alone.
"The semi truck was still right where he left it," stated the arrest report. "His level of intoxication prevented him from finding it."
Police found the truck along with the boy who was watching cartoons inside the truck's cab. The keys were in the ignition and the doors were unlocked, according to detectives.
Crawford was booked into the Marion County Jail on charges of felony child neglect and public intoxication. The truck was towed away and the boy was turned over to Crawford's wife.

I think the 5 year-old moved it to give Dad his come-uppence for not taking him in with him.
This was a favorite thing to do back in the drive-in theater days. Move the car and watch while the ones who went to get popcorn stumble around confused.

Potentially a funny story, but with the 5yr old sleeping in the truck, it's not as funny as could be. Hope the kid's safe. Dad obviously has shit for brains.

Kind of strange. Doesn’t this freak have a regular vehicle? I find it strange that he took his child to a seemingly local strip club in a semi truck. How did this come about? Was he sitting at the house and just decide to go. “Hey hun, I am going to run down the street and take little Johnny with me, be back in a few”. If the A-hole knew he was going to a place like that why take the boy? Some people really don’t deserve the blessings that children are.
This guy is a slimeball on several levels. 10 Taking the kid with him to such a place. 2) Leaaving him alone in a vehicle with the KEYS and DOORS UNLOCKED, 3)Getting drunk enough to lose the truck. Last, but not least,if this jerk-o would have found the truck where he left it, and not called the cops for help, would this sleaze then proceed to get in his semi-deathtrap, and put himself, the kid, and the 5 or 6,000 people on the road in danger of their lives with his super-sized vehicle of mass-destruction? Thank God he was so toasted he lost the truck! He might have actually saved a couple of lives!
Yeah I agree. Crawford doesnt stand for anyones bullsh**. He doesnt care if your a superstar or rookie, he will call it as he sees it. A great example is that Mavs/Spurs game like a season ago where Duncan taunts him, and he kicks him out.
Well, I like Crawford, because his fair to everyone equally.
you are all idoits. my dad is a good man. the semi was for his job and he never sat around doing nothing he was always working. plus he only took my little brother with him to help mom cause theres 7 of us. and the simi was locked and my baby brother is not stupid enough to leve the truck. and sandy they wernt married. and i am gratefull he is my dad with the way thing were at home i cant blame him for wanting to ge a drink or to. he was a god truck driver and a great father. AND the simi was never unlocked. he always locked it when we were with him.
