Sliven, Bulgaria (The Weekly Vice) - Kordeza Zhelyazkova, an 11-year-old Bulgarian schoolgirl gave birth to a beautiful baby girl – on her wedding day!
Zhelyazkova conceived her child, Violetta, just two weeks before her 11th birthday. The father, 19-year-old Jeliazko Dimitrov, has stayed by her side the whole time
Zhelyazkova met Dimitrov in the playground of her gypsy school when he rescued her from bullies. Zhelyazkova was pregnant within a week.
Zhelyazkova admits that she has never had a boyfriend or even knew what a condom was. Her school did not offer sex education classes. She didn’t even know she was pregnant until her grandmother noticed that she was gaining weight.
Zhelyazkova and Dimitrov had a traditional Roma wedding, during which Zhelyazkova went into labor. She still had on her wedding dress and tiara when she arrived at hospital.
Dimitrov claims that he did not know Zhelyazkova’s age when he first met her. Zhelyazkova admits she lied about her age because she was afraid Dimitrov wouldn’t "fancy" her.
Dimitrov is facing up to six years in jail for having sex with a minor.

Uhh...she looks a HELL of a lot older than 11! She looks early 20s! WTF? Is this for real?
So he gets to sit in jail, with 3 meals a day being fixed for him, while the (child/)mother has to now raise this baby alone?? I'd say waking up with a newborn every 2 hours, as well as taking care of an 11-yr old child would be a wayyyyy more suitable penance.
That's interesting. Pedophiles in this country sometimes marry their VICTIM as a way to keep from going to jail.
If you have to say things like, "Now use both hands to drink your milk." or "Do you want me to cut up your steak for you?" your wife is way to young!
Roma wedding ? That means they are Gypsies. Not your typical Bulgarian ; they ususally wait until 12 for child bearing. LOL

I don't even know what to say about this one! I would say it's a different world over there, but since he may be charged apparently not! 11? She is just a child herself!

He couldn't tell she was 11. He didn't want to know is more likely.
But now that they are legally married I do wonder if the penalties could be delayed till divorce or death. Or any other action that may land him in the jail house.
Eleven is awful young to be a mother but I find it hard to believe its a record.
