Bristol, Tennessee (The Weekly Vice) - Mariah Shaffer, a 27-year-old Tennessee woman was arrested Oct 23 after she allegedly stripped and then fondled a 14-year-old boy in her care.
According to Kingsport police, Shaffer was arrested on allegations she repeatedly engaged in sexual activity with a 14-year-old boy she was a guardian of.
In one such incident, investigators say Shaffer walked out of a shower, disrobed and then climbed on top of the boy while nude. She then reportedly fondled the boy through his clothing.
Investigators say the alleged incident occurred Nov. 14, 2008 and isn't the only time Shaffer exposed herself to the teen. The teen also said Shaffer exposed her breasts to him on one occasion.
Shaffer responded by telling police the boy "repeatedly walked in on her in the shower" and that she discussed the incidents with her husband - a point the husband denied when questioned by police.
The alleged incidents came to light when the boy went to a school guidance counselor and disclosed the alleged incidents.
Shaffer was booked into jail on a charge of sexual battery by an authority figure. She was released after posting bond. A hearing on the case is scheduled for Dec. 8.

That's got to be a blow to her ego.

I see what she was going for...
Two sex partners she could alternate between... and the kid wasn't interested in playing that role.
I wonder if he was a foster care kid.
Apparently from her MySpace page, she thinks a couple of her friends said something to the detective to get her out of the charges...
How would any of her friends have the foggiest clue what went on in her home?
I find the kid's claim quite believable considering he didn't go overboard with the allegations.
This is why broads should be given plenty of household chores... Idle hands are only a recipe for trouble.
Yea that’s saying something when a teenage boy doesn’t want to get with you. Most teenage boys would get busy with a knot hole in a fence post lol.
If you look at the slideshow pictures on her Peekyou page... she's actually a pretty good looking woman - as seems to be the case in a lot of these stories.
I kind of agree with the theory that she wanted to have two lovers... and having a second male right in your own home was probably too irresistable to her.
They have websites for this sort of thing... www.fling.com for example.
You would think some of these people would watch the news now and then and figure out that having sex with a kid is nothing but jailbait.

for some reason, i am a bit apprehensive about this...true, the kid might know distinguish markings on her body but since he resides there....
I'm not making excuses for her but isn't it possible that he's an angry teenager who's lying? Maybe he tried to get some and it didn't work.
I say this b/c I have known more than one angry angsty teen to go to the guidance office and make up a story for DSS in the hopes of being "freed" from the unfair rules at home.
This story just seems sketchy to me.

Have seen some bad cases myself. hard to tell just from the story told. Often the state puts kids in with good people and never told any background. One friend was surprised to find her ward was a firebug. She and hubby found out when she started a fire in the living room when she making supper. Then the girl claimed abuse. When approached by the state.

This story is such bs i know personally the people and the boy was just mad because she gave him chores he was not a foster child she let him into their home to keep him out of states custody and because his mom is a pos and his dad wants nothing to do with him. like i tell her and her lawyer has told her no good deed goes unpunished. She is a strong woman and will make it through this. it is pretty bad when dss sent her a letter saying that it was unfounded but the state still picked it up. she did not do this and never would. she has a huge lawsuit when all of this is over. I support you until the end Mariah!
