UPDATE:
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (The Weekly Vice) - Sticky, the duct tape wrapped cat we featured last week finally found justice Sunday with the arrest of James Davis, 19, who admitted to wrapping the cat in duct tape and dumping her in a Philadelphia yard.
Authorities say investigators with the Humane Law Enforcement agency received an anonymous tip about Davis and that evidence corroborated the tip. When officers spoke with Davis about the incident, he reportedly confessed to abusing the animal.
According to the Pennsylvania SPCA, a reward of $2,000 was offered in exchange for information that led to the arrest of the person responsible for torturing Sticky.
Davis told investigators that incident was out of character for him and that he "didn't know what came over him."
Investigators say Davis told them that he became annoyed at the cat for being in his yard. He then duct taped the cat and left it in his yard for a few hours - but soon grew tired of the cat's screaming. That's when police say he decided to dump the cat in another neighbor's yard.
Officers described Davis as remorseful. The court may order a psychological evaluation in the event of a trial.
Davis was booked into jail on charges of cruelty to animals and possessing an instrument of crime.

"possessing an instrument of crime" Ha! I was right. I suggested finding his fingerprints inside the duct tape and looking for a man, covered with scratches with half a roll of duct.
Suitable punishment: Wrap him in duct tape, set him on the sidewalk, and make it a felony for anyone to help him out of the tape in the first 60 days.
A psychological evaluation? Ya think? And, anonymous, "nigger" is neither enlightening or necessary.

Give Davis to me. I wouldn't get tired of his screaming for quite a long while (I'd take care of that beforehand).

WOW! This is why we need to have an eye for an eye system set in place. Out of character for him? Really? At which end of the duct tape roll did you realize this may be a f'd up thing to do to a cat? The beginning or the end? or did you go for another roll because you got it on a BOGO Sale. Lock this idiot up too! Geez Louise!
Thank you, James Davis, for reinforcing negative stereotypes about blacks. When this first happened, I saw many comments on fark.com, etc. predicting the race of the offender. And guess what? Those predictions, once again, came true.
