Midwest City, Oklahoma (The Weekly Vice) - Joycelyn Louis, a 72-year-old Oklahoma foster parent is about to face justice after she heated up a potato masher and then used it to brand a 9-year-old boy.
According to Midwest City police, Louis heated up a potato masher until it was red hot and then used it to repeatedly burn a 9-year-old boy in her care.
"The foster mother accused him of stealing money from her. At that point she took this potato masher, heated it on the stove to where it was red hot and branded him," said Chief Brandon Cabes of the Midwest City Police Department.
Investigators say the boy then ran to his room crying, however the woman followed him, stating "I'm not finished with you." She then allegedly proceeded to brand him again. When she was done, she allegedly told him "if anybody asks, say you were accidentally burned."
Although the woman has not yet spoken to police about the incident, DHS workers say she told them she burned the boy because he wouldn't listen to her.
Police say they are awaiting a warrant for Louis' arrest. The boy has been taken into DHS custody.

Whatever anon..if he did actually steal from her, then she should simply return him to the system not brand him..that's pretty cruel punishment!
Foster parents are supposed to be patient!
So because my daughter pisses me off I have the right to brand her with a potato masher? Is that what you're saying anon? You must not have any kids of your own (I hope not anyway). I would NEVER be able to do this to any child no matter how bad he/she is. I feel bad spanking by daughter on her diapered ass!!!!
And to make things worse this kid has probably seen a lot of abuse already in his life considering he is with foster parents instead of his real parents. He has no safe place to go and no real family to love him. Wouldn't you act out? I know I would!! And the sad thing is he will not be any happier in DHS custody. I have been through DFS (St. Louis DHS) and they can give two shits about you, trust me. They are just doing their job. There is no love or care in there at all!!! If they got attached to all of their kids they deal with they would have to have a heart the size of Texas!!!
So think before you speak anon. You look like a total jackass and a wuss also because you have to make a stupid comment like that anonymously instead of putting a name to it....
