Sacramento, California (The Weekly Vice) - Joseph Edward White, a 38-year-old Sacramento, California sex offender was arrested again, this time for groping an eight-year-old girl.
The May 21 incident also led to the arrest of his live-in girlfriend, Nicole Elizabeth Buzzetta, 28.
It all started on the 4400 block of Elk Horn Boulevard, in an apartment complex where the little girl told her parents an unknown man had touched her inappropriately as she walked through a parking lot. (Ed. note: Police did not address the obvious question of why the girl was walking around her apartment complex parking lot unsupervised.)
Based on a tip, Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies learned White, who is a convicted sex offender, was living in the building and arrested him on June 20th at his home. There, they executed search and outstanding warrants (for failing to register as a sex offender), allegedly turning up child pornography. (Reports indicate the little girl and/or other witnesses then identified White as the culprit in the May 21st incident.)
Buzzetta was taken into custody as well, charged with possessing child porn. White remains in jail in Sacramento County on charges of child pornography and committing a lewd act on a child, with bail having been raised to $1.25 million.
The Weekly Vice Opinion:
This is the second incident we've covered in the last week involving an unregistered, convicted sex offender moving off the radar and being accused of another crime against children. Just a thought.
Also, we have to question the arrest of Buzzetta. There doesn't seem to be any evidence the child porn is hers... and if we start arresting those who live with child pornographers and other perverts, we may soon be violating everyone's civil rights.

I'm wondering if she (the girlfriend) knew about his prior arrest record.
I also wonder if computer was hers and if the internet service provider was in her name,thus leading to her arrest.
I'm not aware of the laws in Cali and Sacramento...But some apartment complexes run background checks on prospective tenants. I wonder if he was on the lease?
If she's enabled him in any manner and covered for him,I have no problem with the Sacramento DA charging her.
Mug shots almost always show the persons eyes and his are closed. I hope that's because someone beat him senseless.
There must be more to this than the police are releasing to arrest Buzzetta too.

The common thing with these child molesters is they ALL re-offend every damn one of them. Why let them into society ever?
If someone uses your PC to access child porn, it does not make you guilty, but you most certainly can find yourself in jail for it.
There have been several cases of people who were taken advantage of in that way, but MANY, MANY more of them actually did it and use the "a virus downloaded it to my computer" or "someone in the neighborhood jumped on my unsecure Wi-Fi link and did it" excuses. Those almost never hold up in court, but they try it anyway.
I actually live 2 miles from where this happened, I'm surprised Sacramento police officers had time to deal with this. They have their head so far up their asses in this town...
First of all, I am a acquaintance of the little girl that was groped, he and Nicki lured them with "baby kittens", what little kid does not like baby animals. Also the 8yr. old was accompanied by her older sister at the time, and was showing her little friend her new glasses, the sister was detained by another acquaintance, while the 8 year old left to go home, this creep pulled her by the hand and put his hand down her shorts fondling her. I believe the girlfriend knew what was going on, due to the fact when she would be at the pool, she would just slowly stroll through with her cellphone, probably trolling for babies for this creep. People be warned. I believe Nicki was an accomplice and she was so cranked up she didn't care. He should be fried and then some.
I know Nikki and Joe personally.. She KNEW about his previous charges and when I found out about them I quite talking to both of them. Nikki is as perverted as Joe. He's a creep. He was also a registered sex offender before but his status was put as he bailed and didn't reregister. I personally contacted megans law and gave his exact address. THEY DID NOTHING!
Nikki not only knew what was going on. She encouraged it and was sexually arroused by Joe's action's. They're both disgusting and should be punished with the greatest extent.
Production of child pornography requires that children be raped. People who possess it have essentially hired someone to rape a child. With that in mind, she is at least guilty of not reporting him.
