Tampa, FL (The Weekly Vice) - Jerome Nasworthy, a 41-year-old Tampa Man, was arrested Thursday evening after allegedly chasing people through a county park, armed with a paddle and a knife.
Police say Nasworthy was “holding a paddle over his head in an aggressive manner” when they arrived on the scene.
Officers drew their guns and ordered Nasworthy to drop the paddle and get on the ground, where he was handcuffed and searched. A pocket knife was taken as evidence.
Witnesses said Nasworthy was very intoxicated and angry with them for swimming near his boat. They claim he ‘chased them out of the water...threatening them with a knife, and also twisted a lady’s arm.’ Deputies say he was punched in the face several times by man whom he threatened.
Nasworthy was taken to Seven Rivers Hospital, where he refused treatment. On his way back to the patrol car, he reportedly kicked and threatened the officers taking him to jail.
Nasworthy was booked into the Levy County Jail on three counts of aggravated assault, two counts of battery on a law enforcement officer, battery, resisting arrest with violence, and one count of corruption by threat to a public official.
When Nasworthy arrived at the jail, he reportedly told one deputy that he would find the officer when he got out of jail and do bodily harm to him.

What??? Who the hell keeps a 'paddle' around for self defense? Are we talking about a boat oar? I've drawn that conclusion as he thought someone was swimming to close to his boat.
At any rate I can hear Benny Hill music while reading this story!
I thought he was a she man!
Boat oar this guy must have just been plain trashed.
