Justin Shine's MySpace ProfileHanover, Mass. (The Weekly Vice) -- Justin Shine, a 26-year-old Hanover man was arrested Saturday after police say the 6-year-old girl he tried to rape escaped captivity and ran to safety.
According to Hanover police, 911 dispatchers received a call from a woman around 1:00 p.m. reporting that her 6-year-old daughter was missing. Police conducted a door to door search of the mother's apartment complex when the little girl was found about a half hour later.
"The young girl was found to be shackled above her ankles and blood was found on her arms and legs," said Plymouth County Dist. Attorney, Timothy Cruz. "She was crying and shaking."
The victim then pointed police to the apartment she had just escaped from. It was there investigators found Justin Shine along with evidence of the alleged rape attempt.
Police took Shine into custody after he put up a fight. He was transported to a local hospital for self-inflicted injuries he received during the struggle.
"It's sick. It's demented," said Shine's former girlfriend. "That poor little girl has to suffer the rest of her life. My kids have to suffer the rest of their lives. I can't go back and live there."
Shine's ex-girlfriend, Holly Hersh, told police she recently kicked him out of her apartment because he was abusing drugs. He apparently broke into the apartment just prior to Saturday's attack.
Shine was booked into jail on charges of kidnapping, attempted rape, assault and battery and resisting arrest. He is scheduled for a formal arraignment on Monday.

Thank Goodness that little girl escaped when she did, or we might be commenting on her abduction and murder. I'm am so very glad that she's safe!!! I hope that piece of shit rots in hell!!!
This is too scary. I wonder if there are any missing children from this area!
Probably not. If he is too stupid, weak, whatever, to hold onto a 6 year old, he probably isn't capable of doing it with anyone else. My guess is he was a pedo who hadn't acted on it or and was just getting revenge. I hope anyway that he hadn't acted on it before.
Pretty obvious the girl was going to be killed when he was done. I like the part about "self inflicted injuries". Too bad they weren't fatal.
I am so glad that poor thing was able to escape, could you imagine? being trapped at that age? poor thing..
OFF WITH HIS HEAD!
What a sick bastard! Thank god that poor little girl got away. Im pretty sure she would not still be on this earth if she had not.
I can't imagine what he planned to do with her after shackling her.
This is a monster and I hope the judge delivers the longest sentence possible. Please throw this nasty toilet scum of a man in the darkest, dampest cell possible.
I see it didn't take him long to make bail. Surprised they would let him out considering the time he's facing.
Just throw him in prison. The guys there will take care of the rest.
I wonder what kind of "self inflicted Injuries" he received while he was resisting arrest? If he's found guilty I'm sure they weren't enough. Sicko's who do this kind of thing should be taken out and "put to sleep" like a rabid dog.
Hopefully a nice policeman helped him discover just how hard a brick wall can be.
"Subject ran into brick wall while trying to flee the scene"
Sounds good enough for me.
Here's a photo of this slimeball in court with a big, ugly "SHINER"...
More details emerged on this case. He apparently lured the girl into the apartment, taped her mouth, shackled her and then injected her with something that made her drousy.

Take him out and shoot this maddog...
Castration followed by the quaint but effective beheading, no anesthesia... see how prolific the pedophiles are when this becomes the norm.
Personally I feel horrible for the ex! This poor woman realized what a jackass looser he was/is and kicked him out. She did the right thing and yet will have to live with HIS actions for the rest of her life! I hope that the mother of that poor little girl doesn't hold the ex responsible in any way.
