Fort Walton Beach, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Jennifer D'Silvia, a 20-year-old Fort Walton Beach woman was arrested last week after authorities found her 7-month-old baby left alone inside her home, strapped to a car seat amid piles of trash.
According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office, 911 dispatchers received a call of concern on May 20 from a neighbor who heard a baby crying inside an apartment when no one appeared to be home.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they knocked on the apartment door, but no one answered. Doors and windows to the apartment appeared to be locked - so deputies contacted the apartment manager so they could investigate.
Inside, deputies found a 7-month old child left alone, strapped inside a car seat. The child's diaper was described as "overflowing with urine and fecal matter." The infant was surrounded by dirty diapers and piles of trash. The entire apartment was described as filthy and in complete disarray.
The child was transported to the Emerald Coast Children's hospital where an exam revealed the infant's head to be in a misshapen condition. Her muscular system was weak - a condition doctors said was likely due to being confined to a car seat for extended periods of time. The child was also suffering from a rash, blisters and a yeast infection due to a lack of diaper changes.
Deputies looked for the mother, D'Silva, who was eventually found at another residence in Shalimar. She was booked into the Okaloosa County Jail on a charge of child neglect.

Child neglect? Surely deputies are kidding. I can think of about 3 more charges that this case begs for.
I couldn't help but notice the boob job (she shows them off on her Facebook page).... She has all the time in the world to invest in herself while her baby girl grows up malformed - jailed inside a car seat. Priorities, ya know.
Now think of that for a moment. Imagine being strapped down for hours - perhaps days, marinating in your own waste. This is nothing short of torture.
Jennifer D'Silva, you may be an attractive monster - but you are a monster none-the-less. If there is any kind of justice in the world, you will never again touch this precious child. You aren't worthy of even having a photo of her.

Thank God they found this baby before she suffered the same fate as poor little Benjamin Sargent. If only these worthless sacks of shit would give their children up for adoption at birth instead of keeping them for... what reason? Maybe she was getting a state check for the baby. That would explain how she could afford a boob job (but not a cleaning service or a babysitter).
Danny you are entirely correct she should never see this kid again. However I'll bet you CPS gives it back to her in a year or less. Seems to be about the standard time limit.

What is really sad is that this stupid, ugly, big nosed bitch has a wonderful family! Both of her parents are doctors and she has grown up with people that are kind and generous. That poor baby! I really hope she and her nasty breasts (and jacked up nose) get strapped down in a room where she is left for months, with just enough food and water to make her survive, but not able to change her clothing so she can piss and shit on herself. That way she can feel the terrible pain that she has inflicted on her innocent child. That poor baby deserves a caring nurturing home and D'silva deserves to literally rot! This isn't her first kid either. She got prego when she was 14 and her parents let her Aunt in New York adopt the baby thankfully! Too bad no one intervened sooner to save Edie from this living hell.
SHe's already in the system, starting supervised probation for a charge of Grand Theft. Sounds like a winner.

She was out of jail after posting $7500.00. She is a worthless POS, what truly is shocking is both of her parents are Doctors in the Fort Walton Beach area and did not step in and help this poor baby.

Just a note to the writer: the baby's misshapen head was likely a case of either plagiocephaly (a fancy way of saying cranial asymmetry) or congenital muscular toricollis. The former is more likely, as CMT usually affects the spine and neck more so than the actual shape of the skull. Plagiocephaly, however, results in the flattening of one part of the head, most likely due to the head remaining in the same position for long periods of time. Milder cases can be remedied through exercises; more serious cases may require surgery or helmet therapy.
So not only did the silly bitch surround her baby with trash, and condemn the child to sitting in his/her own waste, but she's also very likely responsible for a pretty severe medical condition that could have been avoided altogether if she'd kept her knees together.
