Tommy Johnson Jail Booking ReportHobe Sound, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Tommy Johnson, a 40-year-old Fort Pierce man was arrested Monday after he hid in his estranged wife's trunk before popping out to attack her as she drove down the highway.
According to police, Johnson hid inside the trunk of his soon-to-be ex-wife's car Monday afternoon, remaining there until his wife got into the car and started down Interstate 95. As the woman neared mile marker 96, Johnson pushed down the vehicle's backseat, crawled towards the driver's seat and attacked his estranged wife.
Investigators say Johnson grabbed the at the woman, forcing her to pull to the side of the road where he proceeded to bite her arm and restraine her from leaving. He then fled the scene into a nearby wooded area.
Florida State Troopers Located the man walking a short distance away and placed him under arrest.
Johnson was booked into the Martin County Jail on charges of domestic battery, false imprisonment and burglary. He is currently being held on a $15,000 bond.

Nothing screams "give me another chance" like hiding in a woman's trunk and attacking her on a highway. Well, at least she won't be picking up this thug's dirty socks any longer.

what did this moron expect to accomplish by hiding in a trunk, crawling out and attacking his wife, and then running like a bitch into the woods? FYI, men- this is NOT a positive way to get someone back, maybe some flowers, wine, chocolates, but i dont think i ever wanted to be beaten while i drive..
maybe Johnson was planning to hide til his wife arrived at suspected boyfriend house and go ape there... but the anticipation and frustration got the most worst out of him.....
