Cambridge, England (The Weekly Vice) -- While we'd like to think naughty teacher cases are primarily a U.S. epidemic, England seems to be hot on our heels with cases of it's own - particularly when it comes to a teacher's profile photos.
Natasha Gray, a physical education teacher at Manor Community College, is in hot water after a parent complained about photographs that were found on her iModel.com "Tasha" page.
The photos, which feature Gray in a satiny thong and lacy bra, outraged parents when their 11 to 16 year old children discovered the site. A letter to the school said the photos were "provocative" and "common knowledge" among pupils who attended the school.
Ben Slade, who is the Head Teacher (Principal) of Manor Community College said the photos should not have been published.
"They were completely inappropriate for somebody who is a teacher," said Slade. "They were absolutely not pornographic, but do you want to see your teacher in that way? Probably not."
Slade ordered the removal of the images which included about 8 images in all. Although Gray had not been suspended, he stated that he felt "let down" by the teacher's conduct.
Incidentally, Gray was voted the UK's sexiest teacher on a television show in 2002. She won an ITV competition two weeks before starting her job as a teacher at the school.

WOW that is one hot freakin teacher, shes lucky that all they did was request her pictures be taken down.
I never had a particular fondness for British women. "HAD" being the key word here.
Principal shouldn't complain. I bet she cut the number of student sick days in half the day within a week of starting the job.

Don't want your kids to see that, keep them off innapropriate websites.
Mind your own kids and the school won't have to. What she as an adult does off school grounds is her business.

not for nothing, but since when can teachers NOT have a personal life? so because this woman is a teacher, she has to be mosey or something? c'mon, parents, instead of crying that your kids saw the pictures, why don't you monitor your kids better or not let them use the internet at all...
yeah, a double standard.....
she can be voted the sexiest teach in UK, but she cant profit from it.....officials should have dropped her notice then and there.
there seems to be poor line of communication between teachers and administrators about what is appropriate and what is not in Britain....
we have the same problem, but we don't have the same media as they...do we?

There's been a couple British teachers who have gotten caught up in picture scandals recently. Well I'd much rather have pictures than teachers raping kids ever day of the week like they do in the US
people need to mind their own business...geezzz must be a crime free area...

I was actually taught by Miss Gray from 2002 to 2007 and she is a wonderful tracher and i think its a bit ridiculous that so much fuss has beeen made over these photos that have been around for years, were taken BEFORE she was a teacher. and it's not like she promotes them and tells students about them. but you know what students alike. They were first discovered by some 15 year old boys! There used to be a pic of her on the billboard by cambridge train station! No one complained then! It's stupid. People should leave her alone.
To be quite frank, I think it's riddiculous how being a teacher limits what you do for fun. It's not like she's a peadophile. And what about all the teachers that cheat on their partners? Clearly that should be a worse image to present to pupils, other than loving your body.
If the parents don't want the pictures to be seen, then they should be a family safety lock on their computers, shouldn't they?

Seems crazy. Teachers' private and schools lives must be regarded as separate. How she earns extra cash must be her business.
Teaching councils warn against bringing your private life to school, however.
With common knowledge of the photos online perhaps it could be argued she merged public and private.
It would have been common sense for her to have removed the photos. She gave opportunity for a PC head, wanking schoolboys and jealous females to get her.
Not sure it is any different in England but in the States, a Community College is after high school (usually 18). That said, do most parents complain about their children's community college professors in England?

This was an elementary or middle school teacher in comparison to the US.
we had a lesbian PE teacher at our school who some of the pupils said they felt uncomfortable getting changed with her in the room. this is nothin in comparison. if the students found these images then it means they were looking for indecient images of women anyway, just because they know the person doesnt make much difference, especially if they were made BEFORE she became a teacher. No wonder people dont want to enter the teaching profession when every aspect of thier life is scrutinised.
Miss (i hope its miss^_^) Gray, if you enjoy modelling do that as the money is probably better. then continue teaching at a later date.

There are coat models, dress models, panty hose models, shoe models.... If its clothing, there's a modeling job for it.
