Paris, Tennessee (The Weekly Vice) -- Sandra Curtis, a 36-year-old English teacher at Henry County High School in Paris, Tennessee was arrested Tuesday on charges of having sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old male student.
According to the Henry County Sheriff's Office, the boy began attending Curtis' class in January. By February, Curtis and her student had become engaged in a sexual relationship that lead to multiple encounters between the two.
Investigators say Curtis met the boy for sex three times after school. The encounters allegedly occurred in a vehicle, a house and another undisclosed location.
Authorities first learned about the situation when the teen told his parents about the relationship a few weeks after it began .
Curtis, who resides in Camden, has been charged with three counts of statutory rape by an authority figure and three counts of aggravated statutory rape. She was released on $15,000 bond, posted by her mother shortly after her arrest.

She has no respect for herself and others around her. It was a disgusting thing for her to do. She is a sick person. She hurt a lot of people.

as in so many cases, its the alleged victim who turns the perp in.....
with damning evidence as in texts and phone calls...
its just amazing that so many so called professionals are so willing to throw away career and marriages for a tryst with a minor
Are all these teachers that have sexual relations with minors unable to find someone their own age to have trysts with? Damn... there are at least 2 teachers a week, from my count, that have been arrested for this. You'd think they'd realize they won't get away with it...

She's a sick person. In more way's than one. She honestly deserves everything she's going to get and then some. I know her well. We went to school together and even have been married. but To her I didn't meet her expectations. because I smoke cigarettes. But look who's in trouble and going to prison. She's a liar,cheat she doesn't think of anyone but herself. I feel sorry for her youngest boy MY SON. That she took from me. Her and her 50 something yr.old husband.

i love mrs curtis she was a cool teacher i had her for english class sophomore year so what if she had sex with that dude. the only thing that sucks is that she lost her job and career over it
The worst thing my daughter ever did in her life was to marry Ronnie Reed. He is wrong about the reasons for their divorce....he was abusive and a liar.....she never lied about her mistakes. The boy....is Noah.....MY grandson and my daughter and son in law Matt's son. Not Ronnie's.......never was his. He is dilusional....if anyone should be in prison (and Sandy was only in a county jail) it is him for abusing his daughter Christina.....he beat her so bad she had bruises all over her.

Having known Sandy for quite a few years and met her, i found her to be a very loving, caring person, who loves all her children and is a great mother to them all. Its support this lady needs not torment, if this had happened and she wasnt a teacher she would of broken no laws and no one would of cared less, so give her a break let her rebuild her life and forget about the past (Dobby)
I've had 2 kids go to HCHS. a boy and a girl. BOTH said she was a great person & teacher, and have nothing but contempt for the boy in question. it's not as if it was a 10 year old. or, pardon the double standard, a female student.
I sincerely wish the best for Sandra, and so do my kids.
It's amazing to me that people actually feel sorry for this women....do people not realize that she was a teacher who took advantage of her student? She took an oath as a teacher and she broke it...if you ask me she should be counting her blessings....her butt should be in jail!!!
And for the people who profess to know her.....don't judge a book by it's cover....Sandy Curtis (aka..Sandy Smith; Sandy Perez; Sandy Curry; Sandy Slaughter; Sandy Reed, etc)is not a good person....she's not a good mother. Not only did she steal both her boys away from their biological father's, look at what they need to deal with now for the rest of their lives......Sad...very sad! When are you going to grow up Sandy and start thinking about your boys....they are the innocent one's!!! Good Luck to Noah & Jordan.....they are the one's that people should feel sorry for!!!
