Durham, North Carolina (The Weekly Vice) -- Gina Marie Watring, a 40-year-old teacher's assistant at Creekside Elementary School in Durham, NC was arrested Wednesday on charges of repeatedly having sex with a 10-year-old boy.
According to the Durham County Sheriff's Office, reportedly had sexual intercourse with a 1o-year-old student on at least two occasions.
Investigators say Watring and the boy had sex on April 10 and April 21. Few other details about the case were disclosed by the Sheriff's Office.
Watring was booked into the Durham County Jail on two counts of first-degree sex offense with a child. Bond in her case was set at $100,000.
She resigned her position at the school on Tuesday.

ugh seriously how would that even be possible? I hope for the child that it isn't true because that is a life scarring event to a child.

I can't believe the family of this child molester are trying to pin the blame on the poor kid by accusing him of being infatuated with his abuser? How the hell can a 10 year old child be sexually attracted to a middle aged woman for Christ sake?
Scarred for life? I think not. I was about 10 when the 16-year-old sister of my friend did me. Several times. I turned out just fine, thank you very much. 31 now, and last time I checked, I'm rather well adjusted. It's a great memory, not a scarring memory.
I hope they don't let her walk with time served... When will parents be allowed to kill their children's abusers and then just walk with simple probation pleading temporary insanity?
And anonymous, why don't you track down your friend's sister and ask her for another go now that you are 31 and see what she has to say? She'd be a few years older than Gina Marie. She was still a child herself when she did that to you, but I don't think it is a great idea for any 16 year old to be "doing" any 10 year old. Hopefully you are a well-adjusted 31 year old and don't have problems you just haven't dealt with yet as a result of that person's act.

Maybe the child was angry at her and made up a fictional story to get her in trouble or maybe the childs mother vindictively made it up?
I hope so because otherwise whats this world coming to?
