Lehigh Acres, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Christle Thompson, a 31-year-old Lehigh Acres woman was arrested Wednesday after police say she abandoned her young children inside dirty house for more than 24 hours.
Lee County authorities say Thompson left her children alone in a home that was described as "unlivable". 24 hours later, her children still hadn't seen or heard from her.
The children, who's ages ranged from 1 to 13-year-old, told investigators that their mother left at 8:30 Tuesday morning. By 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, she still had not called or arrived home.
Authorities first learned of the alleged abandonment when the father of four of the children called to report the children were alone. One child was reportedly left with an unnamed adult.
Investigators rounded up all five children and placed them in the custody of CFS. Thursday a judge ordered four of the children to be placed with their father. The other child - from a previous relationship - was placed with the child's grandmother.
Although it was not disclosed what Thompson had been doing for a whole day, the charges themselves might shed some light on that.
Thompson was booked into the Lee County Jail on five counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, 2 counts of neglect, and Driving While Intoxicated. Bond appeared to have been revoked from a previous arrest, thus she continues to remain in custody.
Thompson has an active criminal file which includes arrests for DUI, repeatedly driving on suspended, resisting arrests, battery and trespassing. Many of these charges have been accumulated while being declared a habitual violator. She's really living the dream, eh?

I'm just glad that there was a 13 year old child who could call for help.. It's just sad that the child had to be the parent since the egg donor wasn't!!

There's just the issue of 5 kids found alone in a stinking rathole of an apartment - and I'm quite sure they took photographs of it.

first of all the kids were not found at the house second of all she was caught driving with all of her kids and thirdly the father does not have the kids the grandma does and fourth she was arrested and then released the same day..you need to know the facts before you say anything..and by all means read the police report and you will see that people like you and everyone else should mind there own business and search for the facts first..and you can go fuck yourself..
