Robert Szoyka's Sleepy Time Jail Booking
North Palm Beach, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Robert Szoyka, a 44-year-old Palm Beach police officer was arrested on domestic violence charge - but was too tuckered out to stay awake for the booking photo.
Szoyka, who has worked for the North Palm Beach Public Safety Department for over two years was arrested early Thursday morning for battering and then threatening a woman inside his home.
According to the Indian River County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to Szoyka's home around 10 p.m., however Szoyka told them there wasn't a problem and a woman at the residence refused to talk.
However, two and a half hours later, the woman called deputies back to the home after Szoyka left the house. She told deputies that Szoyka had punched her, sat on her head and then threatened to kill her during a confrontation that evening. He then took the batteries out of the cordless phones before leaving, according to the Sheriff's Office report.
Deputies located Szoyka, who was sleeping inside his car in Vero Beach.
He was booked into the Indian River County Jail on a charge of Battery - Domestic Violence. Apparently tuckered out from the evening's excursions. He was released after posting a $500 bond.

I imagine it could be something of a tedious process, but I never would of thought getting your mugshot taken was that boring an experience.
