Ft. Lauderdale, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Michele M. Fevola, a 33-year-old West Palm Beach woman may face charges after turning Florida's 1-95 into the highway to hell.
Police say Fevola's license had just been reinstated last month, when she entered Interstate 95 Monday night. Before she was done, she was involved in three separate crashes, sending one woman to the hospital in serious condition.
Investigators say Fevola was driving south-bound in a 2002 Chevy pickup truck around 8:15 p.m. when she rear-ended a 2008 Lexus near Southwest 10th street, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Instead of stopping, Fevola continued driving.
The next accident came a stretch down the highway later when she rammed a 1984 Toyota near Atlantic Blvd. Again, Fevola refused to stop.
The most serious accident came when Fevola rear-ended a 2004 Isuzu near Sunrise Blvd. The accident caused the Isuzu driver's vehicle to roll while Fevola's vehicle was struck by a 2009 Toyota.
The Isuzu driver, 21-year-old Marisol Montellano, was transported to Broward General Medical Center in serious condition. The drivers in the other vehicles were reportedly shaken, but uninjured according to authorities.
Police say charges are pending a toxicology report to see if Favola had been drinking.
Her license was returned on Feb 20 after it had been suspended numerous times for DUI and DUI related charges. According to state records, Fevola's license was suspended in 1998 after refusing to submit to a toxicology test following a crash. She was charged with DUI in that case.
Her license was suspended again in 2001 after she was arrested for drunk driving. She was arrested later the same year for DUI which resulted in suspension of her license for 5 years.
Crash victim Marisol Montellano's condition was recently upgraded to "good condition" according to hospital spokeswoman Candice Ogden.
The Weekly Vice Opinion:
This accident appears on a map to have spanned several miles. Umm.... Hit and run? Leaving the scene of an accident? Hello? DUI charges could be added later!
Sigh.... I really REALLY don't get that God-forsaken state.

Now that it's hit the news, I'm sure charges will be coming. It is most CERTAINLY hit and run, considering the miles in between crashes.
Dude, I remember those commercials (with the samsonite monkey jumping on the luggage). Jeez I'm old.
Sounds like the gene pool needs a bit of cleansing...
i bet she had that same numb look on her face as she was causing mayhem on the highway....3 years in prison is my guess
why the f*ck does she keep getting her license back?
I believe that once you lose your license you should be required to do all of the tests again, writing test and driving test instead of it being handed back. thats basically like a slap on the wrist and a "dont do that again" heres your license back type of thing. how pathetic.
As much as I hate asking how can someone get in touch with Michele we used to be friends and lost touch and I hate finding her on the net this way because she should have been smarter than this
Doesn't look like they charged her with anything...
Any updates, folks???
browardclerk. org only has her 2001 case...
hmmm....
