
Walkersville, Maryland (The Weekly Vice) -- A grandfather, father and son were arrested Sunday night after brawling over a family member's dog. Move over Larry, Darryl and Darryl - The Shoemakers are in town.
According to Maryland State Police, Troopers were called out to a family member's home when an argument broke out about the an alleged dog napping.
The victim told police that his father, Michael Shoemaker, 42, and his 17-year-old brother had broken into his home to steal his dog. During to confrontation, Michael Shoemaker reportedly threatened to return later and burn down his son's home.
Police say while Troopers were sorting out the dispute, 66-year-old Robert Shoemaker arrived at the scene and became disorderly with officers. Grandfather Robert, Father Michael and the unnamed teen brother were all taken into custody.
Robert Shoemaker was charged with disorderly conduct. Michael Shoemaker was arrested for making a threat of arson and the teen was arrested for burglary and theft.
Michael Shoemaker was released on a $10,000 bond. Bond in the other two arrests have not yet been established.
The dog, if wise, ran for dear life before someone decided to pick up a fork.
