Craig Aylesworth Attempts To Burn Down Neighbor’s Trailer, Burns Down His Own Instead

Craig Aylesworth's Jail Booking Report

Blitho, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Craig Allen Aylesworth, a 51-year-old Orange County man was arrested Tuesday after attempting to set a neighbor's trailer on fire. The wind shifted, burning down his own trailer - and several cars - instead.

According to the Florida State Highway Patrol, an argument broke out between Aylesworth and and his neighbor on Amityville Drive at about 7 p.m..

Investigators say Aylesworth retaliated by tossing a Molotov cocktail on his neighbor's trailer, however the wind shifted, causing the flames to travel back to his own trailer instead.

Fire crews say the flames traveled over a fence, engulfing a travel trailer on his property in flames. The fire spread to two cars and a pickup truck in the man's yard as well.

Orange County Fire and Rescue spokesperson, Lt Anthony Rios, believes alcohol may have been a factor in Aylesworth's decision-making.

Aylesworth was booked into the Orange County Jail on six counts of 2nd-degree arson, throwing a destructive device with property damage, arson of a dwelling, arson to a vehicle and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Bond was set at $22,500.
