Kissimmee, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Joshua Murray, an 28-year-old Kissimmee, Florida man was arrested Thursday after smacking a handicapped 5-year-old girl so hard in the face, it left a hand print for days.
According to Osceola County authorities, a school resource officer at Boggy Creek Elementary school noticed bruising on the face of a 5-year-old student who uses a wheel chair. When school officials asked the girl about her injury, she first stated that she had been hit with a soccer ball.
She later came forward to admit she had been struck in the face by a relative who told her to lie about how she received the injury.
The victim was transported to a local hospitals where doctors confirmed the injury as substantial since a red hand print and bruising were clearly visible on the child's face more than 15 hours after it occurred.
A family member told investigators that Murray became upset with the girl and smacked her, but did not think the injury was that severe.
Murray was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail on child abuse charges. He has since been released on bond.

Have you been around a 5-year-old girl recently? They are usually so frail and tiny - especially a wheelchair bound girl who's limbs have lost muscle tone.
To hit a child this size would easily knock her off her feet. That is if this little girl could stand. But to strike her with such force that it leaves bruises for days?
I don't consider that mere child abuse. Aggravated child abuse, battery and a few other charges should have also been considered here.
Nothing short of neutering this neanderthal would be justice.

I bet he's happy to finally be getting out of that shirt.
i am not going to dip so low as to call dude a cretin...since all that we know is this may have been a one time event which he lost control of himself with this child.
thus, this probably is not another "lock em up and throw away the key" case.

what the hell!? what has happened to the nova road crew? everyone has gone there separate ways, some in the wrong direction! get your head out of your ass josh and do somthing positive with your life. getting out of osceola county might be a good start.you can still turn your life around , but only if you choose to! don't get caught up in nonsence, you are in control of your own future. so think and choose wisely.
