Annmarie Brickner Is A Wedding Crasher - Beats Up Sister At Her Own Wedding Reception

Hebron, Indiana (The Weekly Vice) -- Annmarie Brickner, a 23-year-old Valparaiso, Indiana woman was arrested Friday after beating up her sister at her sister's own wedding reception.

According to police, Lori Kappas and Nicholas Landry were attending their wedding reception last Friday when the bride's uninvited sister, Brickner, showed up.

Kappas told authorities she had just arrived at the reception location when Brickner walked up to her vehicle and began pounding on the window. Although Kappas initially refused to leave the safety of the car, she eventually got out and tried to ignore Brickner on the walk up to the house.

When Kappas reached the porch of the house, witnesses say Brickner grabbed the bride's hair and pulled her to the ground. Witnesses told police that two guests pulled Brickner off of Kappas, but in doing so - clumps of the bride's hair were pulled out.

Brickner told investigators that she just wanted to talk to her sister and parents about "family problems" and insisted that she did not attack her sister. She told investigators that instead, an "old lady" and two men jumped her.

Five witnesses however told investigators that Brickner did, in fact, attack her sister.

Brickner's children, who were waiting in a car during the alleged attack, were released to their father.

Brickner also reportedly resigned her job as a Porter County 911 emergency dispatcher following the alleged attack.

Brickner was arrested on a misdemeanor battery charges for the alleged attack.

She wanted to talk about family problems at a wedding?

And yet she was a 911 operator?

Boy, that must have worked out swell!

she couldve waited to talk about family issues instead of at a wedding she was not invited to.

Just a misdemeanor? She'll probably get off with probation and a small fine, while her sisters memories are ruined.

It's no wonder she didn't want anything to do with her sister.

Wow, I agree with you Tess, it's no wonder she wasn't invited.

She seems like one of those people that the wedding wasn't about her, so she was going to MAKE SURE it ended up being about her.

She certainly could have picked a better time and place to confront her sister. Obviously she wanted an audience.

I'm pretty sure that sister no.1 didnt just wake up up one day and say to herself, "I think i'll go crash sister no. 2 wedding." Drastic moves require drastic measures. Either way it sounds like a "Kodac Moment" to me. Lol

The fashion forward jewelry shopper who desires something different will be drawn to rose gold’s rich and warm tones. It’s a wonderful precious metal to wear for your wedding ring.

At any age when someone is a beauty she is a beauty. But teaching and learning is not when someone is already at menopause!!
