Lorenzo Knight - Alleged Burglar Hides In Portable Toilet. Victim Finds Burglar And Tips Toilet Over. That’s When Things Get Messy

Tampa, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Lorenzo Earl Knight, a 22-year-old Florida man was arrested on burglary and theft charges after police say he broke into a vehicle and then hid in a nearby portable toilet. Before police arrived however, Mr. Knight discovered why a port-a-potty is the last place a burglar wants to hide.

Investigators say the incident began when Lorenzo Knight broke into a 1999 Ford F-150 in a mall parking lot Saturday and allegedly stole a $500 digital camera along with it's owner's manual.

Knight was attempting to break into a 2nd truck, when the automobile's owner and a friend spotted him and gave chase, according to the police report.

Knight fled the scene to a nearby construction site and attempted to hide in a portable toilet that was also on the site. The truck's owner and his friend soon caught up to Knight and tipped the portable toilet over, trapping Knight inside the toilet until police could arrive.

When officers arrived, they found Knight still inside the toilet, soaking wet in the toilet's contents. Authorities also recovered a screwdriver that Knight used to jimmy the truck's lock and a shoe he left at the scene, according to Tampa Police.

Knight was arrested on the "spot" and charged with two counts of burglary and one count of grand theft. He was booked into the Orient Road Jail and then released Sunday morning after posting a $6,000 bond.

I'm thinking I'd opt out on wanting that camera back. It might have come in handy for snapping a picture or two of Knight when he came out of that portable though. Thankfully Tampa police furnished Knight with a fresh, clean t-shirt for the mug shot. The picture might have turned out rather "crappy" if they didn't.

Zachariah White - Fatally Injures Small Kitten After Girlfriend Dumps Him

Muncie, Indiana (The Weekly Vice) -- Zachariah White, a 21 year old Muncie, Indiana man has been arrested and charged with felony animal cruelty, possession of marijuana and public intoxication after police say he abused a cat in a fit of anger after his girlfriend broke off their relationship.

According to investigators, a woman contacted police from a gas station phone booth around 1:00 Wednesday, complaining that her boyfriend had abused the cat during an argument she and her boyfriend were having.

The woman told officers that her intoxicated boyfriend became enraged and began punching walls when she told him that she was leaving him. The woman went on to say that she asked her boyfriend if he thought he was Muhammad Ali, to which he allegedly replied "no I'm Zach White, the tight end for the Winchester Golden Falcons."

The woman told police that White then picked up the kitten and punted it across the room, striking a ceiling fan. The kitten then fell to the ground, seemingly in great pain and unable to walk.

Police took the kitten and the woman to an animal control officer who performed several tests and concluded that the animal's back had likely been broken in the impact.

"We found the animal foaming at the mouth, possibly broken back, crushed ribs, pretty much almost dead," said Ron White with Muncie Animal Care and Control. "We don't like to see animals suffer, so we euthanized the animal. No animal should have to live in cruelty."

Ron White went on to add, "If you're abusing an animal, there is a chance later on you are going to be abusing other things."

Authorities located White at the apartment and arrested him. While at the apartment, authorities also recovered an undisclosed amount of marijuana from White's possession and performed a blood alcohol test, which resulted in a 0.089 BAC.

White has been charged with felony animal cruelty, possession of marijuana and public intoxication.

John Mucher - Alleged Child Molester Video Taped Himself Having Sex With Child Victim According To Police

Hamilton, Ohio (The Weekly Vice) John Mucher, a 33-year-old Hamilton, Ohio man has been arrested on accusations that he had sex with a young child and then videotaped the abuse.

Mucher was arraigned in Hamilton Municipal Court August 20 on charges of gross sexual imposition and rape. According to the arrest report, investigators say Mucher repeatedly engaged in sexual conduct with a young child between the ages of 5 and 7 years old.

During Mucher's preliminary hearing on Thursday, Hamilton Municipal Court judge Dan Gattermeyer heard testimony from detectives that revealed new details about the alleged activities Mucher engaged in with the child.

According to investigators, Mucher allegedly videotaped himself having sex with the young girl on at least one occasion. Police say the alleged abuse began when she was about 4 years old and continued up until Mucher's arrest. Investigators say they obtained a video which shows Mucher performing sex acts with the victim, according to Hamilton Police Detective Mark Hays.

Hamilton police obtained a warrant to seize and examine two computers and various disks from Mucher's residence. Although detectives have not yet examined the computers, they anticipate that it may contain additional child pornography.

Mucher's defense attorney asked the judge to reconsider the $200,000 bond that had been previously set, and the judge agreed. But instead of lowering bond, the judge raised it to $1 Million dollars bond.

Judge Gattermeyer also found sufficient evidence to bind the case over to a Butler County Grand Jury who will now consider an official indictment against Meyer. Prosecutor Jennifer McElfresh stated however that the case is ongoing and additional charges may be forthcoming.

Hamilton (The Weekly Vice) John Mucher was indicted by a Butler County Grand Jury in mid September on 39 sex-related charges including six counts of rape, downloading child pornography, 30 counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, two counts of illegal use of a minor in a nudity oriented material or performance and gross sexual imposition with a minor.

In other words, his twisted, sick, pedopuke arse is getting nailed to the wall.

On Monday, September 29, Mucher entered a plea and motion of innocence by reason of insanity. His bond was increased to $1 Million Dollars.

Investigators say the abuse of the child began when the girl was 4 years old and continued up until just days before his arrest.

Authorities recovered a video dated January, 2008 which allegedly shows Mucher performing sex acts on the child.

It takes an incredibly loathsome bastard to molest a child. It takes an even more grotesque bastard to repeatedly rape a child. But videotaping the abuse so you can get relive the molestation over and over? There just are no words.

If any of the details presented thus far are true, this mudslinking worm shouldn't be allowed to see the light of day until he becomes a shriveled old man....who's manhood Viagra couldn't even help. Even then, he'd be getting out far earlier than he should. There just are no words.

Melissa Wilson, Charlotte Mathews-Nelson And Debra W. West - Three Women Arrested This Week Who Police Say Have Been Bad, Bad Girls

Fort Gibson, OK/Dover, Fla./Tampa, Fla. (The Weekly Vice) -- Authorities in two states announced the arrests of three naughty women this week who have been arrested and charged in three unique cases involving Grand Theft, Child Rape and Animal Abuse.

Melissa Jo Wilson, a 33-year-old Fort Gibson, Oklahoma woman has been arrested on accusations that she raped a 14-year-old boy.

According to Muskogee County authorities, Wilson had sex with a 14-year-old boy between June 1st and August 21st of this year. Investigators say Wilson took the boy to a secluded cemetery, YES A CEMETERY, to have sex in her car. Authorities also say the woman hid the boy from his parents and police by providing a tree house for him to stay at.

Wilson has been charged with 2nd-degree rape, lewd or indecent proposals or acts to a child under 16 and obstructing an officer. She was booked into a Muskogee County jail on a $50,000 bond.

Wilson is scheduled to appear again in court on September 11th, where a preliminary hearing date is expected to be set.

Charlotte Mathews-Nelson, a 43-year-old Dover, Florida woman has been arrested on eight counts of cruelty to animals and eight counts of confinement of animals without food or water.

Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies arrested Mathews-Nelson and took custody of 10 dogs that were in her care after authorities say she failed to comply with Animal Control demands that she improve the condition of the dogs in her keep.

Animal Services discovered the malnourished dogs, who were being deprived of food, water and proper housing, on an anonymous complaint. Officials then gave Mathews-Nelson information on care standards. When Sheriff's deputies discovered Mathews-Nelson failed to comply with those standards, they arrested on her on Thursday.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Department say Mathews-Nelson told them that she had no money to pay for food or veterinary care for the dogs. She was booked into jail on a $20,000 bond.

Debra W. West, a 46-year-old adoption agency director from Tampa, Florida has been arrested and charged with grand theft, resulting in a total take of over $188,000 from Florida birth families who's fees were already covered by medicare.

Authorities say West used the adoption agency she directed, Adoption By Choice, to charge medical expenses to birth mothers who's fees were already being paid by medicaid.

West directed the agency between 1992 and 2005. They believe she began defrauding birth families in 2000, pocketing over $188,000 in bogus charges from families who reside in Hillsborough, Pasco, Citrus, Marion, Pinellas, Brevard, Aluchua and Sarasota counties.

West was arrested on Thursday on charges of Grand Theft over $100,000 and is being held at the Land O' Lakes Detention Center. No bond has been established.

Stephanie Hays - Woman Arrested On Charges That She Offered Up Three Young Children For 26 Year Old Man To Have Sex With

Houston, Texas (The Weekly Vice) -- On July 22nd, The Weekly Vice reported on the case of Michael A. Stratton, an Evansville man who drove to Independence, Missouri expecting to have sex with the children of woman he met online. When he arrived to meet the woman and her kids, he found police officers waiting for him instead.

During his arrest, Stratton told police about another woman in Texas he had arranged to meet in August for the very same reason - to have sex with her children. Detectives took Stratton's story seriously and continued Stratton's conversations with the woman, just to see where it would lead. What they found was appalling.

According to an arrest affidavit, investigators used Stratton's Yahoo account to continue the chats Stratton had been having with the woman. During those chats, Hays arranged to meet Stratton, so that he could have sex with three young children including her 11-year-old son, 5-year-old nephew and 2-year-old niece. Investigators also say that Hays asked "Stratton" to send her child pornography images during the chats.

"They had arranged to meet last week. In fact, the young lady had actually taken a week off of work and had taken a whole week of vacation last week," said Assistant District Attorney, Eric Devlin.

After Hays' arrest, investigators searched her home and confiscated two laptop computers which contained numerous images of young children engaging in sex acts. Some of the images depicted an adult male forcing sex on a 2-year-old child.

"The suspect admitted that she had discussed the sexual acts that Michael Stratton would commit against (the children) and making the arrangements for Michael Stratton to meet her the week of August 20th, 2008," said Gray in the arrest affidavit.

Hays has now been charged with possession of child pornography and sexual abuse of a child and is being held in a Houston jail on $50,000 bond.

Believe it or not, authorities are now tracking down another lead provided by Stratton, who allegedly offered children for him to come have sex with. Just a couple of days ago we reported on ANOTHER woman (Jennifer Richards) who offered to sell her children for sex in exchange for a used car and an apartment.

Perhaps people are getting more depraved by the minute - but we've never had so many instances of women offering up their kids for sex in such a short period of time. Good God, it's sad that such sick, twisted acts are even heard about, let alone at this rate. What's up with these morbidly nutty women, and how did we get so many of them?

Patricia Ann Penn - Little League Forced To Postpone It’s Season After Board Member Allegedly Steals Almost $5,000 in Organization Funds

Casselberry, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- A Casselberry Little League Baseball organization has been forced to postpone the beginning of it's fall season after one of it's board members allegedly stole nearly $5,000 from it, severely damaging the organizations finances.

Patricia Ann Penn, a 41-year-old year old Florida woman and Little League board member has been arrested on at least one count of larceny after Police and organization members say she stole thousands of dollars from the league.

According to Seminole County Authorities, Penn was arrested on Monday after Little League officials told deputies that Penn maxed out the league's credit card after purchasing multiple personal items at various gas stations and shopping centers like Sam's Club.

Little League president, Darrin Sink also said cash had been missing from the League's concession stand since January, but he and other board members didn't suspect Penn was stealing the money until last April.

Sink told investigators that cash registersin the concession stand were regularly having problems and came up short on cash often. "I paid for a soda with $100 bill, and by the end of the day, that bill was missing from the register. Sink was the only one handling the deposit," said Sink.

When the issue of missing money came before the board, Penn suggested limiting the number of children allowed in the concession stand area to minimize opportunities for theft. When the board discussed the idea of installing a security camera, Penn turned down the idea, citing it was "too costly," according to Sink.

The Seminole County arrested report states that Penn allegedly confessed to stealing the money when confronted by the League's president and his wife.

"After admitting to it and crying on the phone, she turned around and used the card to make more purchases," Sink said.

The Weekly Vice Opinion:

It may just be us, however just one look at her gives us the impression that she'd have trouble operating a blender, let alone boarding a Little League organization with access to thousands of dollars.

We're a bit curious though. The Little League president said they confronted the woman, she admitted to her activities and then went back and spent more money. That statement begs this follow up question.

Why the hell would this woman CONTINUE having access to funds after already admitting to theft? Why would nobody notice THOUSANDS of dollars missing from a credit card and a concession stand register?

Although blame belongs squarely on the thief who stole the funds, it sounds to us like there should be plenty of blame to go around here and heads perhaps should be rolling besides Penn.

Scott Lee Murphy - Arrested On Accusations That He Held Girlfriend Down And Then Ordered His Pit Pull To Attack Her

Clarksville, Tennessee (The Weekly Vice) -- Scott Lee Murphy, a 24 year old Clarksville, Tennessee man has been arrested on accusations that he held his live-in girlfriend down and then ordered his pit bull to attack her.

According to Clarksville police, Murphy allegedly pushed his girlfriend down Tuesday Night during an argument and then ordered his pit bull to attack her as he held her down.

The dog managed to bite the woman multiple times on the arm and leg before the woman was able to get free. Neighbors also reported hearing screaming from the home around the reported time of the attack.

"The information that we have from the witness accounts and the complainant is yes, she was held down and the dog was actually sicced on her," said Clarksville officer, Jim Knoll.

When police originally proceeded to question Murphy about the incident, he had already fled the scene. In fact, he fled the entire state. Police caught up to Murphy and arrested him in Oak Grove, Kentucky where he now awaits extradition back to Tennessee.

Authorities have captured the dog involved in the attack, which will now be quarantined for 10 days while officials try to determine if the animal has been involved in any similar attacks in the past. Authorities are looking into a similar bite incidence that occurred in the area about 30 days earlier. If a history of attacks are established, the dog could be euthanized.

"We're still researching if this one was was the bite dog previously from a few months back," said David Selby of the Montgomery County Animal Control organization.

According to Clarksville police, Murphy has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault while he awaits extradition. The case is still considered ongoing.

Regardless of the outcome of that investigation, Murphy's neighbors are worried that the animal will attack others, if Murphy orders it to do so. They also say that animal control has been called out to Murphy's home previously on complaints that his dogs were running loose.

"He'll probably get mad with somebody in the neighborhood and tell the dog to get you," commented a neighbor.

We've heard that the woman in the case was treated for non life-threatening injuries, however if family or friends cross our site, please let us know how the woman is doing. Richard Obdyke - Teen Caught With Stolen Debit Card In Pants Pocket Claims “Pants Weren’t His”. Investigators Debunk Claim

Naples, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Richard W. Obdyke, a 19-year-old Naples, Florida teen was arrested for trespassing at an area Wal-Mart on Monday. But when Collier County Sheriff's deputies checked Obdyke's pants pockets, they also discovered a stolen debit card.

When investigators questioned Obdyke about the stolen card, Obdyke had an interesting answer. They weren't his pants. He told investigators that he had found the pants in his van and didn't know who they belonged to.

Deputies found Deborah Cahill, the owner of the stolen card, who told them that charges were made to the card at McDonalds, a gas station and a 7-Eleven after the card went missing. When investigators asked where she might have left the card, she wasn't sure but told them the card turned up missing shortly after visiting Marsala Pizza over the weekend.

Unsurprising to deputies, it turned out that Obdyke was a Marsala Pizza employee. Deputies arranged a meeting with Obdyke at the restaurant, however authorities say Obdyke elected to skip the agreed upon meeting.

Authorities, rescheduled a new meeting with Obdyke, arresting him at his home in North Naples, Florida.

Obdyke was booked into the Collier County Jail on Thursday, charged with felony fraud / illegal use of a credit card. Bond was not yet listed on the Collier County Sheriff's Dept. Website.

Theresa Cunningham Duarte - Teacher Rolled With The Homies, Arrested For Allegedly Dealing Cocaine To Students

Rockville, Maryland (The Weekly Vice) -- Theresa Cunningham Duarte, a 44-year-old former English teacher at Thomas S. Wootton High School in Rockville, Maryland has been arrested on accusations that she distributed cocaine to students.

According to police, Duarte was arrested on Monday and charged with two counts of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance and two counts of contributing to conditions of a child.

Detectives with the Montgomery County Family Crimes Division were contacted by child protective services who informed them that Duarte had distributed cocaine to at least two Wootton High School students from her home, according to police spokesperson Lucille Baur and a Montgomery County Press release.

Authorities also say the alleged drug activity took place on more than one occasion.

School district officials say the Duarte resigned her position with the school at the conclusion of the 2007-2008 school year. Her resignation came prior to an investigation into the alleged drug-related activity and no reason was provided for her departure.

Duarte was booked into the Montgomery County Jail, however was released after posting a $150,000 bond.

Ricky Leon Merriweather – Maintenance Worker At “Law Enforcement Center” Busted For Peeping In Women’s Restroom

Augusta, Georgia (The Weekly Vice) -- Ricky Leon Merriweather, a 47-Year-Old Richmond County maintenance worker has been arrested and charged on accusations that he drilled peep holes into the ceiling of a women's restroom at an Augusta law enforcement facility. Now he's behind bars.

Merriweather, who resides in Hephzibah, Georgia, now faces felony peeping tom charges after authorities say he drilled holes into the ceiling of a women's restroom at the Richmond County Law Enforcement Center in Augusta.

According to Richmond County Sheriff, Ronnie Strength, the holes were discovered by a female employee who noticed two peepholes in the ceiling of the restroom on Tuesday.

She really got a creepy feeling, she felt like someone was watching her," said Richmond County investigator Blaise Dresser. "She noticed some debris on the floor, when she saw it, it looked like sheet rock. She looked up and saw two holes in the ceiling.

Authorities say Merriweather, who is a long-time county employee, denied the allegations at first, but then admitted later to drilling the holes for the purpose of spying.

County Administrator Fred Russell refused to discuss the case, stating that it was a "personnel issue".

This by no means is the first time a maintenance worker used his position to drill holes or set up cameras as a means to peep on women in the restroom. But for criminy's sake, a Justice Center?He should be sentenced an extra year just for being a big enough dumbass to think THAT would go over really well.

What ticked us off the most about the story isn't what Merriweather did, but the smug response of Fred Russell who didn't think anyone needed to be informed about the details of this case because it was a "Personnel matter".

Fred, you a blundering fool who should be removed from your position at the earliest date possible. ANYTIME innocent people become or MAY have become a victim of a crime that violates them in such a personal way, it is a PUBLIC matter, not a "personnel" issue, dumbass.

We just love it when idiots such as Fred think this is no one else's business. Perhaps if Fred had been ogled while abusing the toilet, he'd feel a bit differently about it. Not that anyone would want their eye sockets burned out by a vision like THAT.

Christie Ganoe ‘ Miss Washington County ’ Arrested After Breaking Into Ex-Boyfriend’s House And Assaulting Woman

Frostburg, Maryland (The Weekly Vice) -- Christie Ganoe, a 22-year-old Cumberland, Maryland woman who is the reigning Miss Washington County, has been arrested and charged with 2nd-degree-assault and 4th-degree burglary after authorities say she broke into her ex-boyfriend's house and punched a woman in the head.

According to Frostburg police, officers were dispatched to the home of Ganoe's ex-boyfriend who told authorities that he wanted Ganoe to leave his house. Officers escorted Ganoe from the residence and took her home, however when the officers left, Ganoe allegedly went back to the ex-boyfriend's home 15 minutes later, broke into the residence and then punched a woman in the head.

Ganoe, who was crowned Miss Washington County in February, was arrested and charged with 2nd-degree assault and 4th degree burglary. She was released on her own recognizance, according to an Allegany County District Court commissioner. She is scheduled to appear in court to face the charges on October 20.

Curiously enough, Ganoe's platform during her competition was educating people to prevent bullying.

Mike Allegretto, director of operations for the Miss America Organization headquarters in New Jersey, said that the organization is aware of the arrest and is looking into it.

Justin Lloyd Sharp – Teen Arrested On Charges Of Possessing Child Pornography And Having Sex With The Family Dog

Palm Beach Gardens, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Justin Lloyd Sharp, an 18 year old Palm Beach Gardens, Florida man has been arrested on charges of possessing child pornography and sexually assaulting the family dog.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Department, Sharp was arrested on Monday on multiple sex-related charges including 7 counts of possessing obscene material, two counts of possessing material promoting sexual performance of a child and one count of animal cruelty.

According to authorities, investigators seized three computers on April 28 that were allegedly used by Sharp to store sexually explicit material involving children and a dog belonging to Sharp's family.

Detectives searched the computer and found eight sexually explicit videos featuring 4 and 5 year old girls who were engaged in sexual acts with adults. Investigators also found a video that showed Sharp having sex with a 4-year-old male German Shepard that belonged to the family.

In a related civil case, Sharp's own mother testified that her son admitted to having sex with the family dog on at least four occasions. Authorities petitioned the court to remove two dogs and two cats from the home, which the court granted.

Sharp was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on Monday and ordered held on a $9,000 bond.

Frankie Lewis – Florida Man Threatens Church Congregation With Knife After He Was Denied Butter

Ocala, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Frankie Lewis, a 48 year old Florida man has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after police say he threatened bystanders with a knife when he wasn't able to get butter during a church buffet on Sunday.

According to Ocala authorities, Lewis became enraged and pulled a knife on a church congregation during a Sunday morning buffet.

Authorities say the incident occurred when the man demanded butter while serving himself at the buffet line. When he could not get any, he pulled a knife on members of the congregation and said he would cut them, according to Sgt. Angy Scroble of the Ocala Police Department.

"As he put the knife back in his pocket, a church member hit him with a wooden board," said Scroble. The man then fled the church on a bicycle, however officers in the area caught him a short time later.

Lewis was booked into the Marion County Jail on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His bond was set at $2,000.

Bradenton, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Janet Landrum, a 41 year old Ellenton, Florida woman has been arrested for her 10th DUI offense. Local authorities call it a record breaking number for the Manatee County area.

According to Manatee County authorities, Landrum was arrested at about 2:30 a.m. on Saturday for her 10th DUI after leaving a local club in Bradenton, Florida . Sheriff's deputies say the woman told them that she had only consumed two glasses of wine.

A Manatee County Sheriff's deputy pulled Landrum over after observing her weaving in and out of traffic, tapping her breaks needlessly and executing wild lane changes. When the arresting officer administered a breath test, Landrum allegedly failed when she blew a 0.112 blood-alcohol level, which is well above the 0.08 legal limit.

Authorities also spoke to the passenger who told deputies they had just met Landrum at the club and allowed her to drive because (the passenger) was too drunk to drive.

Landrum has several prior DUI arrests that include a DUI in Kentucky in 1988, A DUI in Tennessee in 1988 and 1993, a DUI in Georgia in 1999 and 2001 and DUI offenses in Florida in 2000, 2001, 2004 and 2005 according to Manatee County Sheriff's Office Spokesperson, Dave Bristow.

Florida law enforcement records indicate that she was initially charged with an additional DUI offense in Florida, however that charge was later reduced. Landrum has also been arrested multiple times for driving on a suspended and/or revoked driver's license. In addition to the DUI charge, Landrum has also been charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license.

Although it is currently unclear if Lundrum was convicted of all 10 DUI arrests, Bristow said the she was convicted of at least some of the charges. Thus far it appears however that Landrum was not sentenced to jail time in the instances she was convicted for. Her convictions appeared to result in probation.

While authorities say some jail time is recommended after a 3rd DUI conviction, the first DUI is only a misdemeanor in Florida. Officials also blamed an inability to access records where previous DUI convictions exist, when they occurred in other states several years ago.

A Florida Spokeswoman with MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) said that Landrum's case bolsters the organization's call to make a first DUI a felony offense requiring the installation of an ignition inter-lock system that disables vehicles from being driven if the driver has been drinking alcohol.

Barbara Waskey - Wife Torches Husband’s Harley Davidson Motorcycle

Ocean City, Maryland (The Weekly Vice) -- Barbara Waskey, a 43-year-old Rogersville, Tennessee woman has been arrested and charged with arson after allegedly torching husband's Harley Davidson motorcycle. Mug shot distributed to biker bar dart boards across the country.

According to Ocean City police, officers responded to a report of a fire Saturday night. When officers arrived on the scene, they found 40-year-old Joseph Waskey using a garden hose in an attempt to extinguish a fire that had engulfed his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Officers arriving on the scene used fire extinguishers to finally put the blaze out.

Deputy Fire Marshal Cliff Christello said the fire had been deliberately set. Investigators say Waskey's wife, Barbera Waskey set the fire by stuffing a towel into the motorcycle's gas tank and then lit the towel on fire. Police say Barbara Waskey originally left the scene after starting the fire, but later returned and spoke to investigators. Police also found the motorcycle's gas cap in Barbara Waskey's car.

Barbara Waskey was arrested and charged with second-degree arson, malicious burning and reckless endangerment. She was ordered held pending a $50,000 bond.

A man would have to have some pretty strong reasons to stay married to a woman who kicks him where it really hurts - torching his prized Harley Davidson. Judging by the mugshot, half of those potential reasons are immediately off the table. Nah, we're going to have to bump that number up to at least 2/3rds on account of the poodle hair and evil stare.

Jeffrey Michael Mitchell AKA ‘Draven The Vampire’ Tracked Down And Arrested On Child Sex Assault Charges

Jacksonville, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Jeffrey Michael Mitchell, a Florida man so consumed with being a vampire that he capped his teeth and renamed himself "Draven", has been arrested on allegations that sexually assaulting a 4-year-old girl.

According to U.S. Marshals, the Jacksonville Sheriff's office contacted them with a request to help track down Mitchell who they say sexually assaulted a 4-year-old girl May and then was believed to have fled the state of Florida.

Investigators say they were advised that Mitchell "always wore black clothing and he believed that he was actually a vampire," according to a US Marshals press release. Also according to the released statement, Mitchell allegedly capped his teeth and referred to himself as "Draven" in order to appear more like a vampire to others.

According to police, investigators learned that Mitchell was residing in Virginia Beach and contacted Norfolk, Virginia authorities who set up a surveillance of the apartment complex Mitchell was believed to have fled to. After confirming that he was in fact residing in the anticipated location, authorities moved in and arrested Mitchell without incident.

During Mitchell's arrest, Marshals also found two minor children inside his home. Local and federal law enforcement agencies are now investigating allegations of sexual molestation in Virginia in addition to the pending sex assault charges against him in Jacksonville, Florida.

"I would say he was surprised to see us," said Deputy US Marshal Sherri Annan. "We are definitely pleased to get him off the street.

Mitchell is being held at the Virginia Beach Jail without bail on 9 sex-related charges that include aggravated sexual battery, sodomy, and inanimate object penetration.

The case is considered ongoing and additional charges are still pending.

This case marks precisely why we never quite grow tired of reporting stories like this. When you think you've really seen it all, it's just a matter of days (or sometimes hours) before you realize people are consistently striving for whole new levels of perversion, weirdness and outright stupidity.

We're confident that Mitchell's soon to be cell mates in the state pen will find humor in his little vampire fantasy and put it to good use in ways only they know how.

Evan David Thomas Adams - Oregan Man High On Mushrooms Attacks Officer Who Stopped To Help Him

Salem, Oregan (The Weekly Vice) -- Evan David Thomas Adams, a 19 year old Oregon man has been arrested on multiple charges after he allegedly jumped into a patrol car and attacked a police officer who stopped to help him. Admitted he was high on mushrooms.

According to Marion County authorities, Deputy Jerry Wollenschlaeger stopped to assist what appeared to be a man having car trouble on Hawthorne Ave around 3:00 a.m. Friday morning.

He noted the apparent driver, who appeared to be walking away from a black jeep and pulled up alongside the man to see if he was having car trouble.

"He seemed like a nice enough guy, and the next thing you know, he's jumping into the patrol car," said deputy Wollenschlaeger of the Marion County Sheriffs Department.

According to the Sheriff's office, Adams lunged at the deputy through the passenger window and began to fight. For a moment, the officer was able to exit the patrol car and pin the man long enough to ask him what his problem was. "I'm high on mushrooms, dude" was Adam's reply according to deputies.

"The fight lasted for some time and Deputy Wollenschlaeger was finally able to deploy his police K-9 partner, Yo, to assist him, said Sheriff's office spokesperson Jason Myers. "With the help of Yo and Corp. Don Parise from the Salem Police Department, the suspect was taken into custody."

Adams, who admitted to being under the influence of psilocybin mushrooms, was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for dog bites on his legs and scrapes on his face.

Adams was charged with assaulting an officer, interfering with a police animal, DUI, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and unlawful entry into a motor vehicle. He was booked into the Marion County Jail pending a $32,500 bond.

Sometimes we forget exactly why cops get so pissy with people. While they certainly aren't licensed to have a superiority complex, it's no wonder they develop a short fuse at times. Hopefully those dog bites gave Adams a little keepsake from the evening festivities.

Jennifer Richards / Sean Block - Couple Arrested On Allegations They Tried To Trade Sex With 5-Year-Old Girl For Used Car

San Antonia, Texas (The Weekly Vice) -- Jennifer Richards, 25, and her married boyfriend Sean Block, 40, have been arrested on accusations that the couple attempted to trade Richard's five-year-old daughter for an apartment, a used car and child care, according to police.

Investigators say Richards and her married boyfriend Block, put in motion plans that involved selling Richard's 5-year-old daughter for sex in exchange for a used car and an apartment. Police say the couple then planned to blackmail whoever took the couple's offer and then planned to use Richard's 10-month-old baby in a future scheme.

Investigators first learned about the plan after receiving a tip from a police informant, according to Rex Miller of the Federal Bureau of Investigations.

According to the affidavit which was unsealed Tuesday, Block sent a text message to the informant that said "Nice piece 5 yrs old belongs to my gf and she wants to sell it."

The couple appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Nancy Stein Nowak on Friday where Sean Block's wife heard the details of her husband's relationship to Richards and the couple's plans to sell her children for sex.

Also included in the affidavit submitted to the court, investigators say Richards was "of the belief that these sexual interactions would be a positive experience for (her daughter) and that Richards would receive sexual gratification" from watching.

Investigators seized computers that revealed Block had sent Richards links to Russian child pornography sites.

FBI agents testified in court that Block had sent the links to Richards in an effort to help her exploit her daughter. An agent also told the court that Block chatted with Richards online, describing his desire to have sex with teenagers and other sordid activities.

"We heard about picking up teenagers, 13 and 15-year-old hitchhikers and mutilating them, said Jean Brown, an attorney for Block's soon to be ex-wife, Sarah.

Block's now estranged wife Sarah filed a restraining order on behalf of the child she shares with him and has filed for divorce after learning about the charges this week from federal agents. The couple were married for approximately two years.

Authorities say Richards and Block met while working at the Cheesecake Factory at the Northstar Mall where he was a bartender and she was a waitress.

Richards has been charged with using interstate facilities to transmit information about a minor, while Block is charged with distributing child pornography. Richards is scheduled to appear back in court on Tuesday.

Richard's two children were taken into protective custody.

Fausino Diaz Hernandez - Offered Female Undercover Officer Two Cents For Sex

Bonita Springs, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Fausino Diaz Hernandez, a 40-year-old Bonita Springs, Florida man has been arrested and charged with soliciting a prostitute after offering an undercover officer 2 cents for sex.

According to the Lee County Sheriff's Department, Hernandez was nabbed during a three-hour undercover sting operation that authorities conducted in Bonita Springs on Thursday night.

According to investigators, Hernandez offered a female undercover deputy two pennies in exchange for sex Thursday. Sgt. Matt Chitwood of the Bonita Springs Community Policing unit said Hernandez also to offer the deputy other things in exchange for sex as well. Those items included cigarettes, lighters and a bicycle.

Officials say the operation netted 10 men altogether and defended the sting operation by pointing out that the officer did not dress in anything flashy. She wore shorts, a shirt and flip flops, according to Chitwood.

"The point of the arrest was that someone like Hernandez might harass other women in the same way he harassed the deputy," said Chitwood. "Who knows how many other people he's talked to or approached who were just citizens."

Authorities also say Hernandez is well known, uses multiple aliases and has been arrested 19 times in the past for charges varying from trespassing to open container violations.

This story was posted more for the humor in it rather than making the bust itself a big deal. Imagine him digging in his pocket for something to offer, retrieving a rubber band, tootsie roll wrapper and a bottle cap. His offer wasn't far removed from that.

Kathryn Bowen - Mother Arrested After Filling Baby Bottle With Wine And Then Giving It To Baby. Says She Wanted Baby To “Sleep”

Louisville, Kentucky (The Weekly Vice) -- Kathryn Bowen, a 40-year-old Missouri woman has been arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a minor after a police officer watched as she poured wine into a baby bottle and then allowed her 11-month-old daughter consume it.

According to police, Bowen had been attending the Kentucky State Fair on Monday when a Jefferson County Deputy and a corrections officer saw Bowen pour a cup of wine she had purchased into a baby bottle.

"The deputy and the corrections officer observed her remove the bottle from a bag, uncap the bottle, place the contents of the glass into the bottle and then handed it to the baby who then proceeded to consume it," said Chris Hancock of the Jefferson County Sheriffs Dept.

According to the arrest affidavit, Bowen admitted to authorities that she fed alcohol to her baby, but said she did so to help her sleep.

Bowen was arrested and then booked into jail. She was released on her own recognizance later the same day. She was scheduled to be arraigned on Friday.

Authorities say the baby has been temporarily placed in protective custody.

I would have to say the scariest part of this whole incident is the fact that if she felt this comfortable with drugging up an 11-month-old right at a crowded fair ground, you have to wonder if this isn't a regular or semi regular event at home.

Baby won't fall asleep, so you just knock the kid out with a little wine.

As most people know, once any baby grows dependent on something (whether it be a nightly bottle or a nightly 'nightcap', it likely becomes a regular thing until you break the habit. Do you believe this is a one-time event?

Nathaniel Sampson - Palm Beach County Man Beats 2-Year-old Toddler To Death And Then Runs Away

Mangonia Park, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Diana Jones, 27, described her 2-year old daughter, Lakeicia, as a loving child. "She liked to dance, and she liked music," said her mother, describing her daughter's interests.

Perhaps far more memorable to Diana however were the hugs and kisses Lakeicia shared so freely with her mother and friends.

"She would always say 'I love you Mommy' when I left," Diana said. "She'd hug you even if she didn't know you."

That all changed however on Monday morning, when Diana left her daughter with her husband, 20-year-old Nathanial Sampson, to attend a doctors appointment.

During her appointment, Diana received a call from her husband, informing her that her daughter Lakeicia hit her head and was injured. Diana rushed home to find her two year old daughter gasping for breath. They would soon be her last.

"I rode in the ambulance with my baby. We got to the hospital at 2:05 and she was pronounced dead at 2:14," Diana lamented.

When investigators initially questioned Sampson about the child's injuries on Monday, he denied any kind of involvement with her death. He stuck to his story, claiming that Lakeicia was watching cartoons while he played video games in another room.

It didn't take investigators long however to discover that Nathaniel Sampson's story didn't match up with the trauma found on the little girl. An autopsy revealed the worst. Little 2-year-old Lakeicia Jones had suffered a fractured skull, a collapsed lung, a ruptured liver, broken ribs and severe bruising, according to sheriff's department spokeswoman, Teri Barbera.

Sampson disappeared shortly after authorities interviewed him on Monday, making him difficult to find. Armed with a warrant for his arrest - since Sampson was the only person around the child at the time of her injuries - Sheriffs deputies finally found the lying, child beating bastard.

The Palm Beach County Sheriffs Department took Nathaniel Sampson into custody on Friday and booked him into the Palm Beach County Jail Friday night on Murder and aggravated child abuse charges. He is currently being held without bond pending an arraignment hearing that has not yet been scheduled.

Take a look at the rat haired, spawn of Satan above. This evil incarnate, worthless piece of crap "allegedly" beat the living daylights out of a 2-year-old toddler, and then left it for dead, calling the mother home to come deal with the girl's broken body.

It's really hard to imagine that anything that walks around in human skin is capable of such inhumanity - however if you learn anything from this website, please learn this. It exists all around you every day.

Keep your eyes open. Be nosy. Don't ignore what looks to be obviously wrong when it comes to children. If you think a child is being hurt, chances are he or she IS being hurt. The only thing separating the Nathaniels from the Lakeicias in life may be you and you alone.

Bethany Eldredge - Woman Accused Of Shopping, Dining, Drinking And Taking Man To Hotel On Boyfriend’s Stolen Credit Card

Portsmouth, New Hampshire (The Weekly Vice) -- Bethany Eldredge, a 29 year old South Berwick, Maine woman has been arrested on multiple charges on allegations that she stole her boyfriend's credit card to go shopping, dining and ultimately rent out a hotel room with another man.

Rockingham County authorities arrested Eldredge Thursday night after investigators say she stole her boyfriend's credit card and forged checks belonging to a relative to go on a shopping spree before being caught at a Best Western motel with another man.

According to investigators, the alleged victim received a notice of suspicious activity regarding the use of his credit card and learned that the card had recently been used to rent out a Best Western motel room. The man went to the motel where he found a room had been rented in his name using his credit card.

The man then asked for a key and proceeded up to the room where he found Eldredge, another male and bags of merchandise that Eldredge had purchased with his stolen card. Authorities say Eldredge also purchase liquor at the rotary liquor store and purchase meals at a nearby restaurant.

In addition to the credit card theft, the man reported to police that he was also missing cash and a gas card. Police also say Eldredge allegedly forged checks she had stolen from a close relative.

According to prosecutor Tom Grella, Eldredge had an outstanding warrant from Somersworth, New Hampshire as well as a criminal history in multiple states including a prior conviction of theft.

Eldredge was booked into the Rockingham County House of Corrections on a felony forgery charge in addition to other charges related to her conduct. She was ordered held on a $2,500 cash bail. An amount she told the judge would be "impossible" for her to raise.

Her next court appearance has been set for September 2nd.

John Pearce – Burglar Trapped By Own Shoelaces. Dangles Upside Down Until Authorities Arrive

Dartford, England (The Weekly Vice) -- John Pearce, a 32 year old man who attempted to burglarize a Dartford, Kent home was captured after police say the bumbling burglar was caught hanging by his own shoelaces.

When homeowner Paul Ives returned to his home after an outing, we was surprised to find a man hanging upside down, inside the window of his home. The man hanging in that window was 32 year old John Pearce, who police say attempted to rob the home before becoming trapped upside down in the home's window frame.

Next-door neighbor, Nicola Daniels, heard loud banging noises coming from the home and investigated to see what was causing the disturbance. Before long a crowd had gathered outside the home, who took the photo above and then called authorities.

Witnesses belive the man used a hammer to smash through the window and then became stuck while rushing to climb through. The more the man struggled, the more stuck he became, according to neighbors.

"He was screaming in agony and swearing and shouting "I'm not the burglar", said Daniels.

Another neighbor passed by the dangling man exclaiming "Hang int there, mate."

Eventually, police and paramedics arrived to release and then arrest the man. Pearce has now pleaded guilty to burglary with intent to steal. A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for September 5th.

New York Patrol Officer Tackles Heinous Crimes - Shuts Down Kiddie Lemonade Stand

New York City, NY (The Weekly Vice) -- Having solved all New York City crimes, New York authorities go to work cracking down on the most heinous criminal acts plaguing New York taxpayers. Like shutting down a child's lemonade stand.

Children and lemonade stands have gone hand in hand for decades, but that didn't stop one New York cop from putting a 9 and 10 year old who tried to operate one, out of business.

Siblings Wallic and Arthur Perry set up a lemonade stand in Battery Park, New York on Monday, however their new business venture took a unfortunate turn. When the children were unable to show a Battery Park Patrol officer a permit, the officer promptly shut down the lemonade stand and ran the children off.

With a willingness to comply with the officer's demands, the youths promptly applied for the vending permit, however officials denied their request.

After repeated requests for an explanation, the Battery Park Authority finally apologized to the children and granted the permit. The Authority also admitted that the officer had "overreacted" in his dealings with the two youths.

Now with permit in hand, the two children have reopened their lemonade stand, although it's doubtful they'll be seeing the officer as a customer anytime soon.

Autumn Leathers - Maryland Teacher Arrested On Accusations Of Repeatedly Having Sex With 15 Year Old Student

Frostburg, Maryland (The Weekly Vice) -- Autumn Lee Leathers, a 24-year-old English teacher at Mountain Ridge High School in Frostburg, Maryland has been arrested on accusations of repeatedly having sex with 15 year old student.

Leathers was arrested Wednesday on multiple sex charges including: 2nd-degree custodial child abuse, fourth-degree sex offense, perverted practice and 2nd-degree assault.

According to police, the alleged victim told investigators that he had engaged in sexual intercourse with the teacher in May, 2008. He also told investigators that he and the teacher repeatedly has sex at her home over the course of the last three months.

Frostburg authorities obtained a warrant to search Leathers' residence and say they have obtained evidence that supported the victim's statements.

A spokesperson for the Allegany County Board of Educations said that Leathers has been placed on administrative leave without pay pending a further recommendations from the superintendent of schools.

Autumn Leathers has been booked into the Allegany County Detention Center and is being held on a $25,000 bond pending her next court appearance.
