Joseph Kendall - Florida Man Gets Four Lumps Of Coal In Stocking After Allegedly Stealing Own Family’s Christmas Presents

Lakeland, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Joseph Franklin Kendall, an 18-year-old Florida man was arrested on multiple charges after allegedly stealing his family's Christmas presents.

Polk County Sheriff's Deputies placed four lumps of coal in Joesph Kendall's stocking this year. His lumps coming by way of four charges, including larceny/theft, illegal prescription drug possession, marijuana possession and possession of narcotic equipment.

It all started when Kendall's mother called authorities to report that gifts purchased for her son and daughter had vanished. The snatched items included a laptop computer and a DVD player.

It didn't take long for detectives to figure out where the merchandise had gone when she informed deputies that her son had just recently moved out. The gifts were found at Kendall's new home.

It's Christmas after all, and so Kendall apparently had a gift for Polk County Deputies - Three additional charges they could nail him with.

While searching Kendall's home, detectives recovered marijuana, prescription drugs without a prescription and drug paraphernalia from his residence.

Kendall was taken by a Polk County Santa's Sleigh to the Polk County Jail, where he remains incarcerated pending a $13,000 bond.
