Jose Raul Moreno-Lopez Jail Intake Booking
Tampa, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Jose Raul Moreno-Lopez, a 38-year-old Florida man was arrested Sunday after allegedly exposing himself, fondling himself and then simulating a sex act with a tree in front of several children.
According to Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies, Moreno-Lopez allegedly became intoxicated and began punching the ground in a parking lot at the Avalon Terrace Apartment Complex in Tampa.
Investigators say he then removed his shirt, threw it to the ground and then exposed himself to five children at the scene before proceeding "make motions against a tree" simulating a sex act, while children watched.
Deputies arrived about 20 minutes later and arrested Moreno-Lopez on multiple charges, including lewd or lascivious exhibition and disorderly intoxication.
He was booked into the Hillsborough County Jail (Orient Rd. Jail), pending a $7,750 bond.
The Weekly Vice Opinion:
This man obviously has mental problems that go far beyond spending a few weeks in jail. Just the same, I couldn't find any other record of the man in this particular county. He was unable (or unwilling) to give officers a residence address, so he may be a drifter. Florida has a lot of them because of the warm climate. He needs serious treatment before a kid gets hurt.
