
Tampa, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Jacqueline Williams, a 38-year-old Tampa, Florida woman was charged with child abuse Saturday after she allegedly grabbed her 13-year-old son by the throat and popped him in the face during an argument over the remote control.
According to investigators, a confrontation broke out between Williams and her son at around 10:45 a.m. Saturday in a dispute over a t.v. remote control.
The argument became physical when Williams allegedly grabbed the child by the throat and then struck him in the face and head with an open hand, according to the arrest affidavit.
The teenager was left with a cut and a swollen lip.
Williams was arrested and booked into the Hillsborough County Jail on a charge of third-degree felony child abuse. Bail has not yet been established in the arrest.
This arrest marks the third go around for Williams in Hillsborough County
In the photos above, left to right. Williams was arrested 1/12/04 on a felony food stamp fraud charge. She was then arrested again 9/18/07 on a charge of obstructing a police officer.
