Placentia, California (The Weekly Vice) -- Diana Rodriguez, a 32-year-old Placentia woman was arrested after stabbing three relatives of a girl who broke off a 'romantic' relationship with her 12 year old son.
Rodriguez was arrest Monday after police say she drove to the Whitten Community Center and then confronted three women who are related to a 12-year-old girl who allegedly dumped her 12-year-old son.
Rodriguez allegedly arrived angry while picking up her son from a day care that was located at the center.
Rodriguez was confronting the women, identified as the little girl's mother, a sister and a third unknown relative, when the conversation quickly degenerated into a physical altercation. That's when police say Rodriguez brandished a knife and began stabbing the three victims.
All three women were hospitalized and then released after being treated for stab wounds that were not considered life threatening.
Rodriguez was booked into the Orange County Jail, where she is currently being held pending $75,000 bail. Police spokesperson Sgt. Ken Alexander announced that prosecutors were still deciding on what to charge Rodriguez with. He speculated that it would range somewhere between attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
