Clearwater, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Nicholas Densmore, a 20-year-old Titusville man has been sentenced to four years in prison for sexually assaulting his grandparent's dog.
Densmore was sentenced on Tuesday after pleading no contest to one county of animal cruelty back in October, 2008.
According to police, Densmore was staying at his grandparents home in St. Peterburg, Florida on July 30, 2007 when his grandmother saw him with the dog in a motor home behind the house. When the grandmother approached, Densmore allegedly grabbed his grandparent's Yorkshire Terrier and fled. The dog was later found injured in a nearby trash bin.
Medical examinations of the dog, revealed the animal had a torn rectum. In addition, DNA evidence revealed Densmore's semen mixed with the dog's blood deposited on towels the dog bled on.
Densmore was ordered to a four year prison sentence. After the completion of the jail term, Densmore will be monitored and evaluated for an additional year during a one year probationary period.
Densmore's family had requested that he remain in his grandparent's care, so that the family could monitor his medication dosage. The judge however rejected that request, citing that the approach had already failed.
The dog has recovered from it's injuries.

We remember a time when these stories were rare. As of late, it seems to be an almost weekly event. If they can't get their hands on a kid, it seems any old dog will do. Disgusting.

To sexually assault an animal then leave it's suffering body in a dumpster is the height of cruelty. Too high for the law to be able to fully punish this piece of crap, due to the tiny laws that protect "disposable" animals. We need stronger animal cruelty punishments. I hope (and doubt) if the little dog is considered more than something "useful" in this family and it needs a loving home.
I can only imagine how loudly that imbecile will yelp when he is treated in kind by his cell buddy.
I agree that we need stronger penalties due to animal cruelty. I would seriously kill someone if they hurt my pet in that way. I hope there is some "eye for an eye" justice and some burly inmate tears his rectum.
I am always amazed by these stories, not that the hurting of an animal should be minimized, but what amazes me is that the jail sentence people like this get, and the outcry by the public is always greater than those crimes being committed against children. It is rare to see a sexual crime or cruelty crime against an animal, like a dog or cat, go unpunished, yet we hear all the time of the crimes aginst children, women and the elderly either go unpunished, a light sentence given or go with no punishment at all. It is pretty bad when we see more outrage when it involves an animal than a human. Again, I am not making light of these crimes against animals, I would just like to see the same outrage and passion to convict the criminal come from the public everytime crimes against their own species also occurs. In addition, the way society is, I am surprised he even got convicted, If he had a good attorney he could have claimed it was not a crime since it occured between two consenting adult males and does it really matter that they are of a different species? Or even the same sex, I mean, hey, come on now, isn't that what we have become and "evolved" to and make us such a "diverse" society? It does'nt seem to bother our society that you can marry the same sex of your species, or get shit on your dick from a male of the same species, so why should it matter if you get shit on your dick from a different species right? I mean, aren't we suppose to be the species with the higher intelligence compared to all the other species on the planet? I mean, we don't have a greater intelligence than every other organism on this planet, right? What other species has invented anything, made anything, or traveled into space right? right? We are more intelligent, right?? or are we? Cuz I don't see any other animals out here on the planet wiping shit off there dicks.
Men that are gay have no relevance to this case. I think it's infuriating if it's children OR animals because both are innocent beings that do not deserve to be mistreated regardless of species. Rape to any species is vile, evil, and cruel and any perpetrator of this crime should be receive the same treatment imo.

Everytime I see one of these female teachers getting convicted, it seems they are either getting no jail, or released from jail early.Do you remember Debra Lafave, the hot blond teacher who's pictures were all over the news? Well, just was pulled out of jail and put on house arrest. After a few months the judge released her from house arrest. And that was one of the LONGEST cases I know of. Pathetic!
Hopefully one day our kids will be at LEAST as important as a cat or dog.
