Chicago, Illinois (The Weekly Vice) -- Kristy Wright, a 21-year-old South-side Chicago woman has been charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder after allegedly using an SUV to run down her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend.
According to Chicago authorities, Wright was charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder after an altercation back on November 19 left one woman dead and another woman seriously injured.
Police say the incident began when Wright and her boyfriend became engaged in an altercation with Shaunte Sardin outside the St. Elizabeth Elementary School at about 3:30 that afternoon. Police identified Sardin as a 35-year-old mother of two who is the former girlfriend of the suspect's boyfriend.
As the argument escalated, police say Wright climbed into a sport utility vehicle and drove past Sardin and her friend Nikkia Brown, narrowly missing Brown. Sardin allegedly threw an object at the vehicle, shattering it's back window, according to police.
Infuriated further, investigators say Wright turned the vehicle around, sped up and struck Sardin and Brown head on. Sardin died at Northwestern Memorial Hospital about an hour later while Brown suffered a broken vertebra and three broken ribs.
Wright was booked into jail on a $50,000 bond. She is expected to make a preliminary appearance in 'Violence Court' on Monday.

In this case, it will add some perspective - as this is one of the oldest areas in Chicago. Yes, that makes it gang-land.... where cops don't normally show up for anything much sooner than 30 minutes.
We wouldn't be surprised a bit if the woman who was hit spent 30 minutes waiting for help, despite there being two hospitals within a 10 minute drive of this location.

I'd say she was on drugs, licking her lips - and looking horrid compared to some of her pics. But considering where she's from, that's no surprise.
My instincts tell me this Kristy skank is a drug courier and/or a prostitute. Since she's looking at murder charges,I think she's gonna learn that the cops CAN hold you 4eva. This petty Princess of sleaze is going to quickly learn that reality does indeed bite. Karma indeed. Another dirty and scummy skank deserving to be incarcerated until she can be removed from a prison facility via a body bag.
This area of Chicago has one of the highest murder rates in the U.S. I believe. You're exactly right, it's a big time gang area which is probably why the woman was carrying a hammer with her (which she threw at the window).
The black gangs ran the Irish gangs out of the area a long time ago, and ever since, there's been strong racial tension. I'm pretty sure the two victims are black and they were probably all at the school to pick up kids.
This is by far the most thorough write up I've seen on this case anywhere.

First of all, everyone has a hard life. She made the choice to basically become a black person and live like a ho. No one made her become that kind of a person.

Not a good case? I guess you're forgetting about the witnesses who were there, including the other woman she almost killed. That's going to make it awfully hard for her to dispute.
Now as to your other statements.
Yes, of course you love her. I wouldn't expect you not to. If you didn't, you wouldn't be a very good sister. And yes, God does forgive.
This doesn't mean she's a bad person, but she obviously has problems. Denying that won't help her a damn bit Kayla.
Once the system has you, the only thing you can do is admit you overreacted and start convincing everyone you're willing to get help.
If she's defiant, they'll nail her even harder. If she convinces everyone she can get help and change, they will prolly parole her a decade sooner. What she does right now means everything to her future.
I don't think she's a bad girl. I think she just went down a completely wrong path in life. Not a path forced on her. One she chose. But I concede, she might not have felt she had many choices.

Kayla, I for one feel your grief. I know what you're going through. I have a brother that was in jail on drug charges. The kid I grew up with moved away for just two years and somehow began doing things I just can't comprehend. You wish you could just move time back a couple of years and get a fresh start, but you cant.

From what I can see, the "victim" was hardly a victim at all. She was as worthless as the idiot who drove the car and ran over her. Who carries a freakin' hammer, and then provokes someone by throwing it through the back of the window?
If someone "narrowly missed" me, I'd get the hell away from there and call the police, not provoke them further! I guess that's the difference between normal, law abiding citizens and these people though.
Regardless, the chick didn't deserve to die and the driver deserves to be punished for it. No matter what someone does to provoke you, you can NOT take the law into your own hands. Period!

It has taken me a REALLY long time to look up information on this case because I know what happened. I know because the woman that died was my cousin. I love how everyone has an opinion on something when no one was there, so here are some facts. Shaunte has two children that are now motherless. She also had custody of her younger brother, he lived with her and her children. The sister she left behind had to fight to get custody of all 3 children so that they would not go into the system.
As an adult we all have our home life and personal life. I don't know what Tae did in her personal life and I don't care because it was none of my business. But, in her home life she was a WONDERFUL mother and guardian. She took care of her children and brother, and they got to live a DRAMA free happy life on the south side of Chicago.
We are all sinners and have all made mistakes. But 1 fact is clear, she did not deserve to be ran over with a truck. It does not matter what she did. If the murderer was that upset she could've got OUT OF THE VEHICLE and had a good old fashion fight in the street like they did in the old days. On crack or not she knew exactly what she was doing and she deserves the ultimate punishment.
But the punishment she receives will never amount to her taking a life. She took away someones sister and most of all mother. Her daughter is 16 and son is 10.
Now think about your parents. Think of how you view your parents. We know our parents are not perfect, but for most of us we didn't figure that out until we were grown. Now, put yourself in the position of these children. These poor kids have to walk around for the rest of their lives knowing that their mom, the woman who gave them the world, was killed by some STUPID JEALOUS CHICK. It ain't about black and white, who was on drugs and who wasn't. The fact is simple 1 woman took another womans life for NO REASON.
Oh and yes the girl that was with her had NOTHING to do with the fight. Kia was trying to STOP them from fighting. But she almost got killed too...Oh and for the record I would not be defending my family member if they killed someone.
Just so you know MURDERS are the ones that God DOES NOT FORGIVE.
