Topeka, Kansas (The Weekly Vice) -- Jennifer Dawn Liskey, a 38-year-old substitute teacher at Topeka Unified School District 501 has been arrested on charges that she sexually abused a male student.
According to police, Liskey was arrested on Monday afternoon and booked into the Shawnee County Jail on charges of unlawful sexual relations between a teacher and student 16 to 17 years of age, criminal sodomy with a child between 14 and 16 of age and aggravated indecent liberties with a child between 14 and 16 years of age.
According to police, Jennifer Liskey had sexual contact with a male student while she was employed as a para professional working at Robinson Middle School. Records indicate Liskey was working at the time under the name of Jennifer Savage and was employed by the school between September 2003 and September 2006. During her last 7 months of her employment, she doubled as a substitute teacher.
Although authorities have not released specific details of the alleged sexual activity, they did indicate that it involved a male student. From the charges, it would appear the student was 16 when the alleged sexual activity began.
Liskey is being held on a $25,000 bond

I don't know. It seems like this is an epidemic now. With what's going on in the world right now. (radical extremist, murders, rapes, genocide in Africa etc) I don't think that a teacher having sex with a student (male teacher, female student, female teacher male student ect) should'nt rate jail time. An official reprimand, loss of the job? Absolutely. Registering as a sex offender? Absolutley. Jail time? No.
I think it most definitely does warrant jail time. The mental damage done by her will affect the child for the rest of his life. Every future relationship with a woman he has will be skewed.
The boy is going around school bragging about it. Whos really the victim. And what about the parents shouldn't they be help accountable if they knew.
man. screw all you guys. this dude is bragging about it at my school. she was my teacher and she's the tightest teacher i ever had. people make poor choices but there is no *victim* here. this doesnt warrant any jail time or anything. its not like it was forced.
Well, Falcon - that's the problem. The teacher who's sleeping with little underaged boys like you are almost always considered the "tight", cool teachers - instead of kicking your ass and making you learn a few things.
He may be bragging about it, which makes him a dumbass. But she broke the law. When you have kids, I'm sure you'll want the teachers at your school to teach your kid a thing or two instead of bedding them.

Going to a mental hospital does not mean you are incompetant. It also does not mean you have a free reign to do whatever you want, despite the law.
People go to mental facilities for many reasons. depression, chemical dependancy, even grieving over a lost loved one. This does not give you a free pass to do what you want.
And considering there are hundreds and hundreds of other stories of teachers having sex with students, I seriously doubt anyone in Hollywood would be interested in this case. She is just another teacher who broke the law and you are just another "buddy" trying to excuse her behavior.

I agree that jennifer should be delt with for what she did but I still say the boys parents should be in trouble also. They let her stay the night at there house with him. They repeatedly let him stay in hotels with her. They drove him to other states when she tried to move away to get away from him, again renting him his own hotel for him to stay with her. They helped her get and incouraged her to get a divorce from her husband. The boy was no innocent victim either, he was addicted to porn before he even met Miss Liskey. I just think that every case is different and should be punished accordingly
