Lowry Crossing, Texas (The Weekly Vice) -- Cell phone reception for a Texas man was great, but the view for witnesses was definitely poor after a man stripped naked and then climbed a cell phone tower where he remained for hours.
Andrew Arnold, a 23-year-old Princeton, Texas man was arrested after authorities say he stripped naked, climbed a cell phone tower and then stayed there for approximately seven hours.
At about 4:40 Wednesday afternoon, Collin County sheriff's deputies responded to several reports of a man acting strangely. When deputies arrived, they found the man indeed acting strangely, wearing only jeans.
When officers tried to approach the man, he hopped a fence, removed his jeans and climbed 15 feet up a nearby cell phone tower completely naked.
After several hours of asking the man to come down, the sheriff's office called in a negotiator who was finally able to convince the man to come down shortly before midnight.
Arnold has been charged with criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and fleeing from police.
