New Castle, Delaware (The Weekly Vice) -- Investigators are searching for Victoria Bridgewater, a 19 year old Garfield Park woman who allegedly assaulted her own mother, robbed her at knife-point and then stole her car.
New Castle police responded to a report of domestic violence Sunday morning to find a mother who had been beaten and robbed by her own daughter.
When authorities arrived at the scene, a 45-year-old female victim reported to police that her daughter, Victoria, had just come home - demanding money.
The victim told police her daughter searched through her purse, taking her credit card, cell phone, car keys and other items. When the victim saw that Victoria had taken the car keys, she ran out of the house in attempt to prevent her car from being stolen.
That's when Victoria grabbed a kitchen knife and confronted her mother outside, threatening to punch her in the face if she didn't hand over an ATM card and get out of the way. When Victoria's demands were not met, she allegedly punched her mother in the face, causing injuries to her right eye.
The victim then told police Victoria chased her, as she ran towards a neighbor's house for refuge. When the victim had made it inside her neighbor's house, Victoria allegedly returned to her mother's red Kia Sephia and drove it away.
Investigators say as they were taking the report, the victim received a call from work, advising her that her daughter had arrived on the premises demanding that employees open her mother's locker. When coworkers refused Victoria's demands, she walked out into the company parking lot and proceeded to slash co-worker's tires.
Victoria allegedly called her mother once more, demanding money. Police have been unable to locate her thus far.
Victoria Bridgewater is wanted on charges of attempted robbery, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, aggravated menacing, assault, terroristic threatening and unauthorized use of a mother vehicle.

After I divorced my ex-husband he graduated from marajuana to cocaine to crack. A few years later he tried to kill his grandmother when she refused to give him money for crack by beating her with a nail-spiked 2x4 in the head and then ripping the phones from the walls, stealing her wallet and car and leaving her for dead.
Luckily she lived and 3 days later was discovered by a friend and now he is rotting in jail (on a light sentence since a SC judge thought that his drug addiction was a mitigating factor rather than an aggravating factor, which makes no sense to me as drugs are a choice, but whatever)
I doubt much will come of this case. The mother will back down and beg for leniency for her daughter.
