Car Accident - The funniest videos are a click away
(The Weekly Vice) -- Pedestrian Scott Tegtmeyer crosses a seemingly calm intersection in Dayton Ohio. Out of nowhere, a vehicle speeds through a red light and swallows the pedestrian up in a split second.
Scott Tegtmeyer, 43, was walking in the intersection of Third Street and Edwin C. Moses Blvd druing the summer, 2004 when the driver of a Chrysler PT Cruiser ran a red light, struck a Subaru and then hit the pedestrian, according to Dayton Police Sgt. Charles Hurley.
The victim was rushed to Miami Valley Hospital's intesive care unit. The two female drivers involved in the collision were also reportedly transported to Miami Valley.
Despite critical injuries, the victim was able to recover. Police say the man's life was spared when a dent from the crash hollowed out enough space to prevent the car from crushing the victim as it rolled over him.

How could anyone have survived that? It just goes to show you, you never know when it will all end. You just never know. This video reminded me to kiss and hug my wife and kids before going to work - something I've been skipping lately.
The article above fails to note something crucial here: the pedestrian would not have been injured at all had he not illegally crossed on a red light.
Sorry, that previous comment came off as a bit insensitive. It's certainly not the pedestrian's fault, and I'm sorry to see something like this happen no matter who is to blame. It's just that when I see an accident like this, it's always especially painful to watch knowing that it could have been avoided. There will always be bad drivers out there who don't belong behind the wheel because they do things like this, but I can't help but realize that the pedestrian didn't have to be involved in the collision.
Any one doesn't know that what could happen on next step when you are on the road. Best of luck.
This is not a real video.... it was faked.
