
Tampa, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Sara R. McConoughey, a 23-year-old Tampa, Florida woman has been arrested on child neglect and battery charges after she allegedly abandoned two toddlers, broke into a neighbor's house and assaulted the person inside.
The Hillsborough County sheriff's department arrested McConoughey on Sunday after deputies say she abandoned two toddlers, aged 2 and 3-years-old to break into a neighbors apartment.
Once she was inside, authorities say McConoughey shoved and punched the neighbor during an altercation, according to the arrest affidavit. No explanation was given for why McConoughey attacked her neighbor.
McConoughey was arrested at her home on Beechwood Bld and charged with two counts of child neglect and one count of burglary of a dwelling with assault or battery.
She was booked into the Orient Rd. Jail on a $5,000 bond, however she had not yet posted bond as of Monday afternoon, according to jail intake records.
