Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (The Weekly Vice) -- A Philadelphia mother and daughter have been arrested on prostitution charges after police say they advertised a tag-team sex service on Craig's List.
Traci Young, 38, and daughter Tami Smith, 22, were arrested at their home on Thursday as neighbors applauded
According to police, mother and daughter allegedly operated a long term prostitution business out of their home. Investigators say the two women had sex with their customers on a mattress in the basement of the home.
For $200 the two women promised to "double your pleasure" until a Philadelphia Vice unit led both women out of the home in handcuffs. Neighbors say they have been complaining to police for nearly a year about the activities in the home.
Police set up a an appointment with the two women after finding multiple advertisements on Craig's List. When the undercover detective arrived, he was led past deplorable living conditions to the basement, where a mattress was provided to facilitate the services.
Four adults, three children and four pit bulls resided inside the home, which authorities say was was converted into meg-shift bedrooms that had feces and urine stained carpets.
"It's a messed up world out there," said Young as she was being led to a police van. "We have to do this to get by."
Police also arrested Young's 27 year old boyfriend, David Riley, who was found hiding in the home inside a bathroom crawl space. He was taken into custody on narcotics charges. Another woman who also resided in the home was released.
Smith's three children, ages 3, 5 and 7, were taken into protective custody.

"It's a messed up world out there". The irony of that statement is COMPLETELY lost on this lost woman.
This item made me a bit sick to the stomach.
Traci and tami were scumbags. the fact that they killed the four pitbulls while multiple people including family members tried to get these dogs out of custody is complete bullshit. they were great dogs would never harm a soul. the fact that the neighbors had been complaining for nearly a year is complete bullshit as well, they were there no longer then 4 months. The landlord also is a complete asshole, why does everyone fail to add in these reports that the "deplorable" living conditions were due to the fact that he owns a zoning and permit company called little city hall, and did not have the right zoning permits for this house, they were meant to be appartments and he fucked it all up. fuck these reporters that fail to see 99% of the information.
