Eustis, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Laura Lea Pace, a 38-year-old English teacher at Eustis High School in Eustis, Florida has been arrested on allegation of engaging in sexual activity and smoking marijuana with two 16-year-old students.
According to investigators, Pace was arrested on Friday after a week long investigation, accusing the teacher of having sex with two 16-year-old male students during the 2007-2008 school year.
An investigation was launched on October 9, after the Lake County School Board reportedly received an email that detailed the alleged sexual activities that were carried about between Pace and two male students.
Detectives interviewed the students identified in the email, who confirmed that they had engaged in sexual activity with Pace. They also told authorities they smoked marijuana with the teacher.
One victim reportedly provided investigators with a handwritten letter that was Pace allegedly left in the student's mailbox. The letter reportedly detailed the sexual activity that occurred between Pace and the two students, according to Sgt. John Harrell of the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities say they have been able to confirm a match between Pace' natural handwriting and that used in the letter that was allegedly left in the teens mailbox. Investigators also say they have obtained sworn affidavits from a number of witnesses that corroborate some details in the student's allegations.
Since the investigation began, the teacher has be reassigned duties that do not involve teaching minors. The two teens have also been transferred to another area high school.
Pace now faces five counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. She was booked into jail on a $26,000 bond and is scheduled to make a next appearance in court on October 18.

Tis is sooooooo embarrassing to me as a "woman" first & 2nd as a human being in this country who practices "moral values"; SHAME on you lady.This is why we can not say "only men molest/seduce/rape and or whatever. This disqustes me!
Let me straighten this out America is "fastly" rising to the top of the list for "NOT practicing Moral Values". Men go to other countries/states/cities and "purchase YOUNG females" to fulfill sexual fantacies then come back home to their dear wifies and go back to work in their cushiony jobs (like Doctors,lawyers and such).So it's no surprise that Females in the GREAT old USA are practicing Immoral Conduct sexually.
What I don’t understand is how are all of these teacher-student affairs being exposed. I know that what Laura Pace did was both illegal and unethical being she was in a position of authority over these students. At the same time however, I can pretty much guarantee you that none of these guys would ever consider themselves a victim.
Here you have an older attractive woman who is propositioning these young men with sex, weed, and a guaranteed A. That sounds like a good deal to me. Why O’ Why would you bite the hand that is feeding you. Not to sound too perverted, but if something like that had happened to me, I would drop to my knees and scream HALLELUJAH!!! Also, it seemed like common knowledge around the school that this teacher was intimate with a number of students throughout her time at that school. Though you could always argue that it’s just kids making up rumors. It the students in question would of denied anything innappropriate ever went on, I’m not sure the authorities would have anything to go on but speculation and conjecture.
To be honest, if I were in the shoes of any of those teens I would not have dimed her out. I would have kept my lips sealed and enjoyed her seductions for the rest of my high school years. Then maybe used her as a job reference for college or my first job (heh heh)
