Corrigan, Texas (The Weekly Vice) -- Jennifer Hudspeth, a 4th-grade teacher at Corrigan-Camden Elementary School in Corrigan, Texas has been arrested and charged with solicitation of a minor after she allegedly sent saucy emails to mutiple students.
According to Polk County, Texas authorities, Hudspeth allegedly began sending sexually explicit text messages to several 15 and 16 year old male students. The Polk County Sheriff's department began investigating the case after a father of one of the students reported that the boys were receiving the messages.
At the onset of the investigation, school superintendent Tom Bowman said that the teacher would be placed on paid leave by the school while the investigation was pending. He also said that "the arrangment would be changed," should authorities decide to file charges - which they now have.
The arrest comes after a long list of other accusations levied at school district employees over the last few months which include a coach who came to a school sporting event while intoxicated, a Junior High School principal who was accused of viewing child porn on school computers and a school board member who allegedly sent inappropriate emails to teachers.

This is a reflection on those teachers and their conduct. There are many outstanding teachers in this school who seem be taking the criticism of those who view the acts of a few as the acts of the whole school.
Unfortunately, it's not just a few that are caught. It's thousands per year that are caught. Only a small percentage of those make it into the news wire.
Now add in the number of teachers who AREN'T caught.
Then add in the number of teachers currently abusing that will soon be caught.
This then becomes a number that merits legitimate complaint. It is becomes a problem that must be addressed.
Now does that mean all teachers or MOST teachers are bad? Of course it doesn't.
But parents have to be aware of the risk they face by putting kids through 12 years of school... And this isn't only at public school systems. It happens at private, charter and Christian schools as well. It's even happening in the education centers inside of jails for heaven's sake.
Jennifer Hudspeth got EXACTLY what she deserved in my opinion. Any woman who has to stoop to getting her kicks by discussing sexual acts with minors deserves to ROT IN JAIL!!!

The info is not very clear. Perhaps a accurate search in her phone records became in more students involved o perhaps they did not charged her with all the possible counts in January. I just guess if her attorney is delaying the whole thing or trying to drop the charges or going against a offered plea, more counts over her can persuade them to reach a deal. It is not a new thing.

What Shayna, Heather, and Jackie failed to mention about this so called great person is...the minor males that Jen texted where her former 3rd grade students as well as her son's good friends. How sick is that? What she sent to these young boys was more than just words...she gave them a visual too! A lot of the high school boys were giving her their lunch money so she would buy alcohol for them! Great person...She knew what she was doing was wrong. She admitted it to me when I confronted her....not a person I want around my high school son...
