LeRoy, Illinois (The Weekly Vice) -- Jason Marksteiner, a 21-year-old LeRoy man has been arrested and charged with killing and sexually assaulting his pregnant sister-in-law as his wife and kids slept in the same room. Told investigators that he was frustrated with his sex life.
Mclean County authorities say Marksteiner bludgeoned his sister-in-law Jodi McGrew's head with a rock and then sexually assaulted the 19-year-old woman while strangling her.
Investigators say Marksteiner confessed to the murder, telling detectives that he, his wife and McGrew had been drinking the night before at his parents house. Marksteiner told authorities that after the two women went to sleep, he went outside to have a cigarette, according to prosecutors.
That's not the only thing Markstener went out to get, say investigators.
"The statements he gave to detectives were that he grabbed a rock outside and went back into the residence, hit the victim in the head with a rock and sexually assaulted her," said Asst. State's Attorney Kim Cambell.
Marksteiner allegedly confessed to hitting McGrew in the head with the rock at least 15 times and strangled her during the sexual assault to keep her quiet, according to police.
McGrew's autopsy revealed that she died from blunt force trauma to the head, with strangulation as a contributing factor. It was also revealed that McGrew was in her second trimester of pregnancy at the time of the attack (about 5 months along).
So what reason does this worm have for murdering an expectant mother?
"He indicated he was frustrated with sexual relations with his wife and wanted sex," said Asst. State's Attorney Campbell who went on to say Merksteiner could not explain why he wanted to harm McGrew, but admitted to having thoughts about hurting her.
McGrew's sister reportedly woke up about 6:15 a.m. Tuesday morning to find her dead sister naked on the floor and immediately called 911. When police arrived, they found Marksteiner also naked on the floor alongside McGrew with blood stained hands.
Jason Marksteiner was reportedly in police custody by 7 a.m. after being forced to taser the man in order to get him subdued. He was first treated for an injury at St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington and then booked into the McLeon County Jail in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
Marksteiner now faces three counts of murder and two counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault.

It's hard to say how significant this is, but this worm - which seemed to get glowing remarks from some neighbors - wasn't able to bring himself to admit he was married on his MySpace profile - advertising himself as single.
I included McGrew's MySpace profile here because I think it's important that readers get a better sense of the real person that has been lost by this grieving family. A young mom who had plans in place for taking care of her expected child. And yet, this troll couldn't bring himself to offer even a half-assed explanation for why he did it.
We send our deepest condolences to Jodi's family.

It was hard to finish reading this article, I was so mad. This is the lowest rung. They most discusting of bathroom scum. This trash should never see the light of day again.
What a nightmare it must now be for the wife. She lost two at one time.
I'm sure the skinhead of his dreams will be waiting to give him a little of his own medicine.
Hurting a woman is bad enough, but a woman with child. How can a person even conceive of it?
This is horrible. It felt sad looking at the MySpace page of the victim. Jason Marksteiner, thank God I wasn't Jodi's husband.. you'd never make it to trial.
This repulsive, evil slug needs to be chained to the deepest, darkest, dampest hole the prison has to offer, and even THAT is too good for the likes of him.
Pictures can't say everything, but one thing is clear. Jodi was a caring sister. You can see it.

Although we can't imagine what it's like to feel this kind of a loss especially with the circumstances surrounding it. Although we can't begin to know what it must have been like to wake up that morning and see what he had done.

This is too horrible for words. There is a special place in hell for scum like this. Have fun being reamed in the ass by Bubba and his cronies, you sick fuck; now you can have all the sex you want. Prisoners don't take too kindly to rapists and woman/baby-killers.
At one point I was very well aquainted with Jason.
I've had many experiences with him, most of them I will cherish forever.
I know that he has had an attraction for Jodi since the beginning. I also know that Jodi knew this.
I also remember Jodi, years ago.. She would tease Jason. I witnessed this, Jason would sometimes cry from the shame as soon as we'd return to his truck.
Everyone got a little older...
And then I know that Jason and Jodi had a previous secret sexual relationship, and used to listen in detail to Jason proclaiming his encounters, it was guy talk.
I also know that Jason was misunderstood his whole life, and was singled out by our community.
Jason was a nice guy. He always wanted to help people and make things easier on others.
The world failed him. We failed him. He was pushed, and tempted, and teasted.
He tried dealing with these pressures many different ways. Such as writing his pain, listening to some pink floyd, and talking to friends about current situations and obstacles in his life.
He never lashed out or even got terribly angry at anyone.
Not even Jodi, when she knew his inner turmoil between him and her and her sister.
He tried to be too nice about the things that pissed him off. He had a problem standing up for what he believed was right, because of his low self-confidence due to the way the community acted towards him growing up, because he made choices like smoking cigerettes at a young age.
So he was immediately put in "that crowd" simply because of falling victom to an addiction.
If you were to ask the people who knew Jason well if they are suprised by the rape and murder of of someone, most will be appalled at the nature of the crimes themselves, but will also confess to the fact that we all have seen Jason drowing in his accursed thoughts.
They will tell you that he was obviously the type who would just lose it one of these days.
The world abondoned Jason, and when the world does that it turns a person into something that people don't want to see. It's a snowballing, avalanching effect that throws a person into a spiral of misery, lonliness, and other such emotions.
A man doesn't just wake up one morning and decide to do something like this.
Some of the "sexual tension" Jason mentioned, could include the fact that at one point in time his own best friend moved into his house, had sexual relations with Jasons wife and mother of his children, and personally told me that he "runs that motherfuckers shit now".
Also some of the bad events of his life is the fact that his wife was unfaithful close to the beginning of their relationship, and was near suicidal from the heartbreak.
I also know that Jason and Samantha's firstborn child could possibly belong to another father.
Too much bad shit happened, which lead strait to the worst.
My suprise:
Is that Jason made it that long before doing something.

Sounds like this devil was created by the people who paid for it in the end. It's a thousand times better to walk away from this kind of treatment and provocation than to remain the abusive situation (taking the prior anonymous poster's words and comments at face value).
So his wife cheated on him repeatedly, his first born kid is not likely his and the wife's sister was a sexy tease for years. And a community of his peers and so-called friends belittled him and made his life difficult. Any one of these things is reason enough to cut and run. Jodi would be alive and so would her kid, he could still be a "dad" to the one kid that was his, and he could be out roaming around somewhere else far away from anyone he knew previously and give up smoking and such.
I think many crimes of this sort come from people thinking that they don't have other options... when we have a WORLD of choices in front of us... move to another city, town, suburb, etc... move to another COUNTRY, sign up to work on a fishing boat in Alaska, etc... Lots of ways to lose yourself from a bad situation instead of making the situation much worse.
At least Jason didn't kill his wife and children as many other people are doing these days!

NO, he didn't kill his wife and children. He did the next worse thing, he killed hid wife's sister and unborn niece or nephew!!
There is NO EXCUSE for his crime!! There is no punishment that can be deemed to harsh!!
For he is a special kind of trash!! The kind you cannot unfortunately just toss to the wolves, to be ripped to shreds while he screams for his life, as I'm sure Jodie did!!
To bad, he deserve it!! And nothing that can be done to him will be as harsh as the violence he inflicted upon this young soon-to-be mother and her entire family, including his wife and children!!!
I have met this family....and the kids are horrific they have no manners and their mother ignores them most of the time. The pantagraph makes her out to look like a saint when she herself has two charges of abuse on her kids. those boys deserve a family that can take care of them give them structure and not abuse them phyically, emotionally, or even verbal.
The other thing was who was jodis babys father? bc he never stepped out to say that it was horrible. personally i think samantha was in on it. that she set him up to do this action, it was an easy way out for her. i think she sat in bed and watched it all happen. I wish i could be a private investigator to find out bc there is sooo much more to this casee than meets the eye. samantha should be locked up just like he is. she a pot smoking mother who dont give a fuck about her kids.
