Daytona, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Cynthia Horvath, a 45-year-old former English teacher and cheerleading coach at Warner Christian School in Daytona, Florida has been arrested and charged with illegal sexual activity with a minor.
According to police, Harvath allegedly engaged in a fourth-month long sexual relationship with a 17 year old male student who attends the same school. Officials at the school stated that rumors of a relationship at been circling around the school for quite some time, which were allegedly confirmed by the student's father. The teacher resigned her position at the school a day before school officials contacted police, according to the arrest affidavit.
Investigators say the teacher and student allegedly engaged in sexual activity at multiple locations in two counties between June and September, 2008.
"We have other incidents that are still under investigation," said Sgt. Jimmie Flynt of the Daytona Police dept.
Horvath, who is reportedly married with four children was employed by the school for three years according to the school's website.
Horvath was arrested Wednesday and then charged with engaging in sexual activity with a minor in two counties. Horvath was arrested by Port Orange police Wednesday morning and then booked into the Volusia County Branch Jail, where she was charged again by Daytona Beach police with the same charge. She is being held pending a $20,000 bond.

I just read the one about a kid named Kelly, who died because of teachers like this, why don't you teachers stop this stuff. I know there are alot of great teachers out there, and thank goodness, there are more good and great teachers, than these bad bad teachers. People, what can we all do to stop this sort of thing, before more kids kill themselves such as the case I just read. About Airell Beck?

I dunno, for a 17 y/o, she's not too bad. It's not like he didn't know what he was doing, what a pansy-ass for ratting her out.
When I came across an update to the story this morning I thought I had written about Cynthia Horvath for some reason over at my site, but apparently not. I'll have to rectify that now.
Anyway, Horvath was sentenced to community control and probation and will have to register as a sex offender. No jail time and she obviously has to surrender her teaching certificate. She is also not allowed to drive alone.

I think a kid that age would know better then to get involved if he didn't want to. I do know why he got involved and the sex, excitement and bragging is what got her in trouble.
Live and learn, thats why I only date older guys, they don't have to brag to their friends how much sex they get.
Its hard to believe she used to teach at my school before moving to Warner Christian. I thought she was nice. I dunno what happened to her. Im glad she left my school from teacher,our school already has a bad reputation lolz
