Green Bay, Wisconsin (The Weekly Vice) -- Wendy Brown, a married 33-year-old Green Bay, Wisconsin woman has been arrested on accusations that she stole her teen daughter's identity to attend high school and become a high school cheerleader.
According to police, Brown used her 15-year-old daughter's identity to enroll at Ashwaubenon High School, where she began to attend classes and even joined the school's cheerleader squad.
Investigators say Brown, who's daughter resides with Brown's mother in Nevada, told police that she wanted to get her high school diploma and regain a part of her life she had missed as a teenager. She wanted to be a cheerleader because she claimed she didn't have a childhood.
School staff described Brown as timid, poor in math and somewhat emotional at times. Although staff thought she looked older than a typical student, the believed her story because her behavior was consistent with that of a typical high school female.
School officials became suspicious of Brown when she missed several days of classes and then bounced a $134 check for cheerleader uniforms. Assistant principal Dirk Ribbins investigated the name Brown used and discovered the person Brown was impersonating was already enrolled at another school.
Authorities say Brown allegedly has a history of identity theft crimes and missed her following days of classes because she was already facing charges in another identity theft case involving her landlord, Darin Dewitt.
Officials are also recommending charges of forgery, criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct. She was ordered held on an $8,000 bond.

It makes you wonder how in the world people can even get away with this. Like the 29 year old guy who posed as a 12 year old. How dumbed down do you have to be to believe that these people are really teenagers? Just...how?
Ugh!! This says something about the choice of cheerleaders at this particular school. I believe Wisconsin is known for drinking large quantities of alcohol....Coinkydink?
can you imagine meeting her at a party, getting drunk, and then finding out you slept with this wastoid 30 something mom that was about to become the butt of a million jokes across the country?
I say it happened and the guy is not going to say a darn thing to anyone...
