Marble City, Oklahoma (The Weekly Vice) -- Stephanie Harris, a 27-year-old teacher with the Marble City School system has been arrested on multiple felony charges of having sex with a minor student.
Harris surrendered herself to the Sequoyah County Sheriff's department after a warrant for her arrest was issued on allegations that she had sex with a 13-year-old male student.
Sequoyah County authorities say Harris had sexuel entercourse with the student as well as sending the minor several nude images of herself after the encounter, according to court documents.
School officials have received Harris' official resignation, according to Marble Schools spokesperson Rex Starr who went on to add that the alleged sexual activities did not happen at the school.
"The info was that it had taken place during the month of June during the school recess," said Starr.
Harris was booked into jail on four felony counts including first degree rape. She was released later on a $35,000 bond.
