Diana Wimmer Arrest Report
Kenneth City, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Diana Jean Wimmer, a 24 year old Kenneth City, Florida woman was arrested and charged with felony child neglect after police say she locked a baby and a toddler alone in her apartment while going to visit a friend.
Police were called around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday after neighbors complained that Wimmer's one-year-old and three-year-old child had been left alone, locked inside Wimmer's apartment. When police arrived, they waited outside the locked apartment for another 30 minutes while hearing the two children crying and screaming inside.
"The baby was crying nonstop and couldn't be calmed down," said Sgt. Kevin Matson. "The little girl saw the uniform, calmed down and opened the door.'
When the mother finally showed up, she told police that she had been gone for only 10 or 15 minutes. Police dismissed that claim and estimated the time to be closer to an hour and a half.
Investigators say Wimmer told them she had left to talk to the children's father who resides in another unit of the apartment complex.
The children were left in the custody of their father who is now under investigation as well.
Wimmer was booked into the Pinellas County jail on a felony charge of neglect of a child. She was released around noon on Wednesday after posting a $2,000 bond.

you all dont know what the hell u are talking about. she was going down to talk to her boyfriend....who by the way lives with her so get ur facts straight and i love how the 3 year old looked the peephole and saw it was the cops or wait is she superman and has xray vision to then open the child locked door for the police.... more like she unlocked it and the cops came in. get ur facts straight before you print shit.

I see you've put the bong down long enough to type a few words to me, so I'll reply to your asinine statement.
The events, descriptions, timelines and details of the incident were articulated quite well in the arrest report.
I've learned time after time that going by the arrest report's version of the events has always been far more accurate than listening to the "Rubys" of the world.
If you are saying that the child's father lives with her.... and that she was off visiting some other friend - then that little detail was likely a story she told the police along with the fact that she claimed to have been gone for about 10 minutes.
If that statement is untrue, where was she then?
Secondly, neighbors complained after hearing the kids screaming for an hour... and when the police came, they waited outside the apartment for about 30 minutes trying to convince the little girl to unlock the door. She finally did.
Ruby, are you going to tell me you were standing there watching this all happen and know far more than the witnesses who were there do?

Clearly, another example of women behaving badly. I'm most pissed at the meager $2,000 bail set for her. When are judges/society going to get tough on these types of crimes? Of course, they'll pretend to be outraged when children DIE because of these actions, but when it is time to take a strong stand on such abuse, $2,000 Bail is all that they'll do.

you guys dont even know the story. this is just another POS cop makin a shit story up so that he has something to do other than protect the society. If you knew diana you would know that she is a hard working mother that would do anything and everything for her kids. She did leave her kids in her apartment, but she went downstairs to get the Dad at a friends house. Before she left she checked on them twice. They had to of just awakin when she closed the door. She literally went right downstairs to the apartment under hers for the father. the cops were already there. She usually can hear her babies from there but, this time she didnt. Dont tell me you guys have never gone outside real quick to take out the trash or smoke a cig. She was meerly gone for 10 mins which is equivalent to takin out the trash or goin ooutside to feed a dog.
There's a difference between leaving for a minute, vs leaving for a half hour or more.
So you're saying the kids were NOT left alone for a half hour?
Her neighbors are all lying? The cops are all lying? The world is wrong and she is right?
Bahh... I'm not buying it. She needs to fry so she'll learn being a mother requires accountability.
