Tampa, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Yvonne Szczeblewska, a 26 year old Palm Harbor, Florida woman has been arrested and charged with DUI with property damage after she slammed into the back of a police cruiser so hard, it sent the patrol car 90 feet out into an intersection.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's department, Szczeblewska was drunk when she slammed her 2003 Volkswagon into the back of an unmarked police cruiser that was stopped at an intersection stoplight Sunday Morning.
Deputies say Szczeblewska's vehicle hit the cruiser with such force, it propelled the officers vehicle 93 feet out into the intersection. Deputy Cpl. Tony Mannarino was taken to St. Joseph Hospital where he was treated and then released.
According to the Hillsborough Sheriff's office, Szczeblewska refused to take a breath test. She was charged with DUI with property damage and booked into the Orient Road Jail where she
was being held on a $500 bond.
