Waco, Texas (The Weekly Vice) -- Tara Allison Hodges, a 26 year old teacher at Brazos Middle School in Waco, Texas has been arrested and charged with felony sexual assault of a child and improper relationship between educator and student after allegedly smoking pot and having sex with 14 year old student.
According to police, Tara Allison Hodges was arrested on Wednesday after a warrant was issued for her arrest stemming from the repeated sexual assault of 14 year old student which allegedly began on June 6th, 2008.
Investigators say Hodges allegedly picked up the student and then drove him to her apartment where the two smoked marijuana. Police also say the teacher then performed oral sex on the teen before having sexual intercourse with him.
Authorities believe Hodges repeatedly assaulted the boy sexually on at least 10 occassions. Police also say the teacher allegedly gave the teen money and smoked pot with the teen on several of their visits.
Hodges reportedly came to the attention of police after she was suspected of filing a false report of sexual assault.

But yet this is sexual assault? Last time I checked I was always a willing recip of oral sex. I mean "assault" is an attack, right?
He wanted it like she did.
Just to clarify this case a little, the charges aren't so much about the sex. They deal more with a person of trust violating a low that bans teachers from engaging in that conduct with students. Even if the student is of the age of consent.
Then there is the drug charge, which stands as a corruption of minors issue regardless of the teacher's profession.
But you are right on the point that it takes two to tango. And believe me, female teachers everywhere are mitigating their sentences on that point.
Statistically, the more attractive the teacher, the less time they seem to receive - if any at all.
What's wrong with you people? The child is 14 years old! How in the world can a 14 year old consent to being sexually assaulted? Reverse the genders, and assume that you're the father of the 14 year old girl. NOW, how do you feel? Better yet, think back when you were 14 years old; do you recall how gullible and stupid you were about EVERYTHING?! Both of your comments are reasons why Equal-Justice-Under-The-Law is fiction rather than reality in our justice system.
