Matthew Skaggs and Sylvia Stocking - Arrested After 2 Year Old Eats Marijuana. Couple’s Home Littered With Feces, Urine And Drugs

El Mirage, Arizona (The Weekly Vice) -- Well what do we have here? On the outside, it would appear we have two regular garden variety burnouts who's underwear is likely old enough - and ripe enough - to qualify for retirement benefits. Unfortunately however, you are looking at two "proud" parents and the SOLE means of safety for one unlucky little two year old girl who recently earned a trip to the emergency room for all her trouble.

Matthew Skaggs, 24 and Sylvia Stocking, 22, have been arrested and charged with child abuse and drug related charges after authorities say the couple's two year old daughter was brought to the emergency room after eating marijuana.

Medical tests were performed on the girl at John C Lincoln Deer Valley Hospital, revealing that the girl had ingested an unknown quantity of marijuana which caused the girl to become "non-communicative and lethargic." according to El Mirage police chief Bill Louis.

Investigators then visited the couple's home and discovered deplorable conditions that officers described in a report as "disgusting and unhealthy," said Louis.

According to the arrest affidavit, authorities allegedly found marijuana and drug paraphernalia distributed throughout the house, including the bedroom where the child slept. Authorities also recovered a meth pipe and baggies containing a "white powdery substance" that is still being tested.

As if that wasn't bad enough, the home was littered with human and dog feces, urine, dirty diapers, spoiled food and soiled clothing.

"At one point, detectives had to step out of the house to get fresh air," said Louis.

When police confronted the couple with what they had found, Stocking allegedly admitted that it was possible that the child might have eaten some of the marijuana. Matthew Skaggs, however, allegedly became argumentative - telling police it was "none of their business how his 2-year-old daughter ingested the marijuana," according to the report.

Matthew Skaggs and Sylvia Stocking were booked into the Maricopa County Jail on charges of child abuse, child endangerment, marijuana possession and use, and possession and use of drug paraphernalia.

The couple was released on a $2,700 and ordered not to use drugs. [yes we know what you're thinking, and we agree].

You really have to feel for a little soul like this toddler, who start out in life with one foot literally stuck in a pile of s*** and the other tripping over meth pipes and dirty diapers.

If there were any justice, Skaggs would be neutered and Stockings would get her tubes tied. This way the two burn-outs could waste away with a needle in their arm in a back alley somewhere without ruining a little child in the process.

Think the court will monitor these two? Well they intend to try for awhile. But just as sure as Stocking has more oil in her hair than a jar of Vaseline, these two will be back to their drugging just as soon as they no longer have to take a urine test. We'd pretty much bet on it.
