Christie Ganoe's MySpace Profile
Frostburg, Maryland (The Weekly Vice) -- Christie Ganoe, a 22-year-old Cumberland, Maryland woman who is the reigning Miss Washington County, has been arrested and charged with 2nd-degree-assault and 4th-degree burglary after authorities say she broke into her ex-boyfriend's house and punched a woman in the head.
According to Frostburg police, officers were dispatched to the home of Ganoe's ex-boyfriend who told authorities that he wanted Ganoe to leave his house. Officers escorted Ganoe from the residence and took her home, however when the officers left, Ganoe allegedly went back to the ex-boyfriend's home 15 minutes later, broke into the residence and then punched a woman in the head.
Ganoe, who was crowned Miss Washington County in February, was arrested and charged with 2nd-degree assault and 4th degree burglary. She was released on her own recognizance, according to an Allegany County District Court commissioner. She is scheduled to appear in court to face the charges on October 20.
Curiously enough, Ganoe's platform during her competition was educating people to prevent bullying.
Mike Allegretto, director of operations for the Miss America Organization headquarters in New Jersey, said that the organization is aware of the arrest and is looking into it.

I'm not surprised about the 'bullying' topic. This is stalker behavior. I dated a girl once who kept blowing up my phone - months later - when I was trying to be strictly friends with her - and every time I tried to get her to quit acting out, she accused me of bullying her. It got so bad I had to change my number.
This girl likely has mental health issues. Call it 'crazy' if you want, but I think it's a real disorder that needs treatment. For her sake and the sake of people she interacts with.
Well according to her MySpace page. In March 2007, all of her dreams came true. At 22 yrs of age,she has no more milestones to transcend. I'm reminded of a tune by the Eagles from One of These Nights,After The Thrill Is Gone.
Btw,the crown she's wearing in the MySpace photo, appears more to be a small spaceship than a crown,heh.

You're all really quick to judge, but how would you feel if you walked in on your boyfriend with one of your friends? I would probably have the same reaction. These articles choose not to add in that she spent the night with him the night before all of this happened and that he cooked her dinner THAT NIGHT and that she had a key to his house!! You can choose to say what you want, but remember that you can't always believe what you read. Also this "innocent girl" that she punched in the head has a boyfriend!
anonymous, "these articles" are based on what the police report states. They aren't made up, thrown together, random statements.
Secondly, what difference does it make if she had a key. He asked her to leave....she didn't....he called the police and had her removed.
For her to come back and re-enter the home uninvited is certainly "breaking in". It wasn't her home.

So,Miss Washington County punches the friend/girl in the head....And both boyfriends mentioned prolly receive some sordid use of this girl's/friend's head as well.
She seems to attract a lot of physical contact toward her head. Probably doesn't leave much room/time for her mind to think correctly. That's all I'll say!
I understand anon... and for the record, I have every belief that on some level, the guy and his "date" may have had it coming. People are quick to disregard the feelings of others.
At the same time, I still for the life of me cannot comprehend why any woman, much less an attractive woman, would continue to give a guy the time of day if he's been like this before.
For every 10 girls I know, at least a third of them or more are entangled with guys who treat them obnoxiously bad, yet they keep going back to them.
Like a hamspter on a wheel... they never seem to learn that no matter how hard they run, they still ain't going anywhere.

NO ONE CARES. useless information. The point is... She was asked to leave the house and not return, she refused. Police escorted her. She went back, and assaulted a woman. I think this here is proof that this some dumb broads will say whatever to win a beauty pageant. Some just arent in it for what its worth, they just want the win. And will say anything.

I'd guess the boyfriend has gotten off more than anyone else in this drama. And,Miss Princess will continue to forgive and submit her favors for/to the boyfriend...Even though the boyfriend seems to be attracted to those with an aesthetically pleasing exterior--but obviously mentally handicapped behind the facade. He must be doing something right...I hope the other woman will finally give her head some rest. Its probably received enough abuse from the Princess,the boyfriend,wandering country rock road crews,drive by truckers,cops,judges,D.O.T. road crews,has been comedians,dead presidents,out of work actors..et al....
