Lawrence, Kansas (The Weekly Vice) -- Ashley Brown, a 15-year-old Katy, Texas teenager who has been missing since April 24th of this year has now been found. Police have also arrested and charged a 33 year old man that police suspect to have aided in her disappearance.
Ricky Lynn Bacon Jr., a 33 year old Lawrence, Kansas man was arrested at about 1:20 Monday afternoon and charged with felony aggravated indecent liberties with a child and contributing to a child's misconduct.
According to investigators, Bacon helped the 15-year-old girl run away from her Katy, Texas home approximately 3 months ago. Despite widespread media coverage of the case, the youth has been missing ever since.
Investigators got a break in the case on July 8th when the teenager presumably logged into her MySpace account. Authorities were able to isolate the i.p. address to the Lawrence, Kansas area, but reportedly could not pin point the exact location.
Responding on a tip from a neighbor, police were able to discover the teenager's whereabouts on Monday and took her into custody. Ashley Brown was transported to a juvenile center while awaiting transport back to Texas.
Ashley Brown's mother stated that her daughter has had a history of running away, has had trouble in school and often sought attention.
"I can't even explain the relief that I'm feeling," said Ashley's mother. "Knowing that she's alive and healthy and off the street. Maybe now we can finally get the help she needs."
Bacon currently remains in custody and has been ordered held on a $75,000 bond.

We feel the severity of the case - and the intense media coverage that surrounds it SURELY warrants that the man be identified. I have a feeling this girl's life has been and will always be full of Ricky Lynn Bacons.
dumb kids and their myspace pages. if she truely didnt want to be found she wouldnt have logged onto her page. unless shes stupid. everyone knows the authorities trace ip addresses. and did this guy really think he could snatch a child and hide her until her 18th birthday. LOL
I don't know if this is still an active conversation, but I feel it's important to let everyone reading this know that when Rick first met this girl, she was hanging out at a house next door to where he was living. She had some drama going on that got him involved and she fed him some bullshit story that he fell for. We only saw this girl in his presence once before they disappeared. She maintained in front of all of us that she was 18 and told us some story about her brother dying on top of her. Apparently she gave the necklace that her brother was wearing at the time of his alleged death to Rick as a token of her affection for him. We all had a really bad feeling about her, but decided not to say anything since they seemed happy together. Soon after, they both disappeared until this story surfaced. I just want you all to know that as far as I, and other friends of Rick can tell, he is in fact the victim of a malicious, lying teenager, and is not what so many others have made him out to be.
Ok Thomas, people like you are idiots and youre good at showing it. You say you only saw them together once but they seemed happy. Very astute observation. I certainly wish i was that good. She maintained that she was 18 and she lived next door. These things arent hard to find out by asking neighbors. What does an 18 yo want with a 33 yo? What was the urgency to run off? If he was fed a line of shit by this girl, its because he wanted it. The fact is he knew what he was doing, he knew she wasnt 18. Defend the dumbass all you want. Hes a pedophile or an idiot. Id bet both!
