Wisconsin Dells, Wis. (The Weekly Vice) -- Elizabeth Ann Kommes, a 30-year-old Iron Mountain, Wisconsin woman has been arrested and charged with DUI. But what what really got the attention of Wisconsin authorities is what Kommes did next.
Police first became aware of Kommes' potential intoxicated driving Friday night when a witness tipped them off. The witness reported seeing an intoxicated woman get behind the wheel of a vehicle bearing the Michigan license plate "TROUBLE".
According to police, Elizabeth Ann Kommes was pulled over shortly thereafter and given a field sobriety test. When the officer arrested Kommes for DUI, she allegedly tried to buy her way out of it by offering the officer a sexual favor and $10,000 in exchange for letting her go.
Kommes has now been charged with DUI is a fifth offense, bribing a public official and driving with a revoked license.
Kommes was previously convicted of drunk driving offenses in 2000, 2001, 2006 and 2007. She was booked into jail, and is scheduled to appear in court on August 25th.
